Colosenses 3:14
Sobre todo, vístanse de amor, lo cual nos une a todos en perfecta armonía.
Debemos estar claros que el sacrificio del Señor Jesús nos redimió de la muerte y el pecado; por su sangre derramada en la cruz, hemos sido redimidos y revestidos con las vestiduras blancas y resplandecientes de Jesús; por esa razón, no necesitas nada, ni a nadie para llegar a tener comunión con nuestro Padre Celestial.
Ahora puedes tener una relación perfecta y armoniosa con Él.
Juan 14:6
Jesús le contestó: —Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida; nadie puede ir al Padre si no es por medio de mí.
El siempre está esperando por ti:
Salmos 51:17
El sacrificio que sí deseas es un espíritu quebrantado; tú no rechazarás un corazón arrepentido y quebrantado, oh Dios.
¿Quieres mantener tus vestiduras blancas y decir que ya no eres esclavo del pecado?
Por ejemplo, el marino que se echa a la mar para navegar con libertad se tiene que hacer esclavo del compás y de otros instrumentos de navegación. Si alguien decide estar libre de las caries, le es preciso hacerse esclavo del cepillo de dientes. De la misma manera, si un atleta desea lograr un alto rendimiento en su disciplina, está obligado a ser un esclavo del riguroso entrenamiento. De lo anterior podemos desprender que en realidad no existe una absoluta libertad en nada, aunque la quisiéramos, pues para sentirnos libres es preciso hacernos esclavos de algo. Una clave importante en la vida es saber elegir nuestras libertades y esclavitudes, lo que es válido en todo orden de cosas. En lo que se refiere a nuestra relación con Dios, no es diferente. Para poder gozar de la libertad a la que el Señor nos llama, es preciso dejar la esclavitud del pecado. No es posible tener a ambos, a Dios en el corazón y seguir pecando, pues a la larga uno de los dos se convertirá en nuestro amo y nos ha de dominar. Dios nos llama a ser libres, pero no a ser «libertinos», y a llevar una vida que lo glorifique. ¿Es tu caso?
El pecado ensucia tus vestiduras, desviandote del propósito que Dios te ha dado.
Oración:
¡Rey de Gloria! Tu eres el camino a seguir, nuestra guía divina hacia el padre siendo nuestras vidas cambiadas y liberadas de toda esclavitud de pecado, queremos ser revestidos de tu amor y resplandecer en ti; ayudanos a permanecer en santidad y llevar una vida en tu libertad, en el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
Garments of Love
Colossians 3:14
Above all, clothe yourselves in love, which unites us all in perfect harmony.

Do you want to keep your white garments and say that you are no longer a slave to sin?
For example, the sailor who sets out to sea to navigate freely has to become a slave to the compass and other navigational instruments. If someone decides to be free of cavities, he must become a slave to the toothbrush. In the same way, if an athlete wishes to achieve high performance in his discipline, he is bound to be a slave to rigorous training. From the above we can deduce that in reality there is no absolute freedom in anything, even if we wanted it, because to feel free it is necessary to become slaves of something. An important key in life is knowing how to choose our freedoms and slaveries, which is valid in all order of things. When it comes to our relationship with God, it’s no different. In order to enjoy the freedom to which the Lord calls us, it is necessary to leave the slavery of sin. It is not possible to have both, God in the heart and continue sinning, because in the long run one of the two will become our master and will dominate us. God calls us to be free, but not to be “libertines,” and to lead a life that glorifies him. Is that your case?
Sin soils your garments, diverting you from the purpose that God has given you.
Prayer:
King of Glory! You are the path to follow, our divine guide to the father, our lives being changed and freed from all slavery to sin, we want to be covered with your love and shine in you; help us to remain holy and lead a life in your freedom, in Jesus name, amen!
