Galatas 5:25
Ya que vivimos por el Espíritu, sigamos la guía del Espíritu en cada aspecto de nuestra vida.
Cuando usted escoge ayunar, ayune con un propósito, en lo profundo de su corazón, decida el motivo por el que ayuna, y entonces escriba cuál es su causa.
¡Es importante que mantenga su enfoque!
Vamos a la mitad del camino de este poderoso ayuno, por eso en este momento, es importante que te preguntes a ti mismo:
¿Cuál fue mi propósito cuando empece este ayuno?
Defina otra vez porqué lo está haciendo y escribalo.
Estamos en un punto crucial y no debemos tirar la toalla, continúa enfocado con la meta que quieres alcanzar con tu mirada en Jesús, sensible en lo que el Espíritu Santo te está mostrando, a este punto no continúes de una manera casual, con una actitud de acertar o no acertar. Esa es una receta segura para el fracaso. Nunca haga un ayuno espiritual de modo casual, porque si lo hace, Dios también será casual al respecto. Planee tener éxito desde el comienzo. Ore y pregunte a Dios lo que Él quiere que usted haga. Decida en oración con la dirección que le está dando el Espíritu Santo, caminando en fe. Pida la gracia y la misericordia de Él siempre para soportar estos últimos dias.
Hay dos poderes obrando cuando usted ayuna:
1- La voluntad humana
2- El poder sobrenatural de Dios
Cuando usted decide ejercitar su voluntad y poner su carne bajo sumisión al Espíritu de Dios, su poder sobrenatural interviene y le ayuda a ayunar según el nivel de compromiso que usted haya establecido. Puede hacer mucho más en la unción de Dios de lo que puede hacer en el celo humano.
La unción de Dios no es para las emociones; es para la batalla… Cuando usted va a la batalla, pelea para ganar. La unción que llega mediante el ayuno y la oración le da una nueva fuerza para pelear por su familia, por sus hijos, por su matrimonio, ¡y para ganar!. Le da la capacidad de oír el corazón de Dios y orar esas cosas que Él desea liberar en las naciones; no puede usted hacer la voluntad de Dios con celo humano más de lo que puede talar de modo eficaz un inmenso roble con un hacha desafilada. La mayoría de las veces causará más daño que bien al no esperar en el Señor su camino, su dirección y su unción. Tome tiempo para sentarse y trabajar en esa hacha. Eso es lo que hace el ayuno; le ayuda a recuperar su vanguardia.
El paso final para recuperar su vanguardia es tomar el aceite y frotarlo desde una parte a la otra de esa hoja afilada para eliminar de ella todos los fragmentos, pedacitos y polvo. Podríamos pensar en esos desechos como: desobediencia, ignorancia (celo sin conocimiento), rebelión y la lengua (palabras de duda e incredulidad). Después, ¡ya está usted preparado para utilizar esa hacha bajo la unción del Señor!.
Oración:
Padre, estamos en tiempos de ayuno y oración, donde creemos que tu Espíritu Santo nos llena de esa poderosa unción, ese aceite fresco que reboza nuestras vasijas, y afila nuestra hacha para la batalla, nos acercamos cada vez más a ti, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.

Since we live by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every aspect of our life.
When you choose to fast, fast with a purpose, deep in your heart, decide why you are fasting, and then write down what the cause is.
It is important that you keep your focus!
We are halfway through this powerful fast, so right now, it is important that you ask yourself:
What was my purpose when I started this fast?
Define again why you are doing it and write it down.
We are at a crucial point and we should not throw in the towel, continue focused on the goal you want to achieve with your gaze on Jesus, sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is showing you, at this point do not continue in a casual way, with an attitude of hitting or not hitting. That is a sure recipe for failure. Never do a spiritual fast casually, because if you do, God will also be casual about it. Plan to be successful from the start. Pray and ask God what He wants you to do. Decide in prayer with the direction the Holy Spirit is giving you, walking in faith. Ask for His grace and mercy always to endure these last days.
There are two powers at work when you fast:
1- The human will
2- The supernatural power of God
When you decide to exercise your will and put your flesh under submission to the Spirit of God, his supernatural power intervenes and helps you fast according to the level of commitment you have established. You can do much more in God’s anointing than you can in human zeal.
God’s anointing is not for emotions; it’s for battle … When you go to battle, fight to win. The anointing that comes through fasting and prayer gives you new strength to fight for your family, for your children, for your marriage, and to win! It gives you the ability to hear God’s heart and pray for those things that He wants to release into the nations; You cannot do God’s will with human zeal any more than you can effectively cut down a huge oak tree with a blunt ax. Most of the time you will do more harm than good by not waiting on the Lord for your way, direction, and anointing. Take time to sit down and work on that ax. That is what fasting does; helps you regain your cutting edge.
The final step to recover your cutting edge is to take the oil and rub it from one part of the sharp blade to the other to remove all the fragments, bits and dust from it. We could think of those wastes as: disobedience, ignorance (zeal without knowledge), rebellion, and the tongue (words of doubt and unbelief). Then you are ready to use that ax under the Lord’s anointing!
Prayer:
Father, we are in times of fasting and prayer, where we believe that your Holy Spirit fills us with that powerful anointing, that fresh oil that overflows our vessels, and sharpens our ax for battle, we draw closer and closer to you, in the name of Jesus, amen.
