Y la vasija de barro que estaba haciendo se echó a perder en la mano del alfarero; así que volvió a hacer de ella otra vasija, según le pareció mejor al alfarero hacerla.

Hay situaciones en la vida que parecen quebrantarnos. Sentimos un dolor —ya sea físico, emocional, financiero o relacional— que puede agotar nuestra energía, confundir nuestra mente y desanimarnos por completo. En esos momentos, niégate a desanimarte fortaleciéndote con recordatorios del propósito y la presencia del Señor. Tal vez te preguntes cómo puedo sugerir algo así, pero debes comprender que siempre que Dios permite que seamos quebrantados, es porque nos está transformando en las personas que realmente ideó que fuéramos.
Como el barro en las manos del alfarero, puedes sentir que estás siendo retorcido y girado de tal manera que ya no distingues el derecho del revés. Dios está quitando todas las impurezas que pueden destruirte, por eso es un proceso tan doloroso. Así que no desesperes, no te rindas y no dejes de confiar en la presencia de Jesús contigo a través de todo ello. Mantente firme y consuélate sabiendo que Él está trabajando en tu vida. Él te está sanando, restaurando, llenando y transformando en algo útil y glorioso.
Oración:
Jesús, mi vida es muy confusa y dolorosa, pero sé que estoy en tus manos. Haz de mí una nueva vasija. Amén.

The vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel.
JEREMIAH 18:4
There are situations in life that appear to break us. We feel the pain—whether physical, emotional, financial, or relational—and it can drain our energy, confuse our minds, and dishearten us completely. At such times, refuse to become discouraged by strengthening yourself with reminders of the Lord’s purpose and presence. You may be wondering how I can suggest such a thing, but understand that whenever God allows us to be broken, it is because He is remaking us into the people He truly created us to be.
Like clay in the hands of the potter, you may feel like you are being twisted and turned in such ways that you don’t know down from up anymore. God is kneading out all the things that can destroy you, which is why it is such a painful process. So do not despair, do not give up, and don’t stop trusting Jesus’ presence with you through all of it. Remain steadfast and take comfort that He is at work in your life. He is healing you, restoring you, making you whole, and fashioning you into something useful and glorious.
Prayer:
Jesus, my life is so confusing and painful, but I know I am in Your hands. Remake me into Your vessel. Amen.
