¿A que la mejor manera de resumir los sentimientos de una abuela por sus nietos se puede resumir en la palabra «deleite»? Otros sinónimos podrían ser «adorar», «atesorar», «complacerse» y «gozar de ellos». La abuelita juega con ellos a lo que les apetezca, les compra juguetes y les regala su amor a raudales. Dios, nuestro Salvador que vive en nosotros y entre nosotros, se deleita en sus hijos con más intensidad de lo que podría describir cualquier número de sinónimos. A Song of Delight

Wouldn’t you say that a grandma’s feelings about her grandchildren can be summarized in the word “delight?” Listen to the synonyms: adore, cherish, relish, and revel in. Grandma plays silly games, buys toys, and showers her grandkids with love. Now, transfer this very human experience to the perfect, supernatural divine experience. God, our Savior who lives in and among us, delights in us with more intensity than any number of synonyms could capture. His love is so strong, our fears are calmed. His delight bursts forth from divine lips in joyful songs over us! It’s no wonder there is in the heart of man a desire to worship—to sing back to God with similar delight!
Take a moment today and revel in the fact that God delights in you. He knows your weaknesses and flaws, but still rejoices over you. In demonstrating such amazing love, he calms all of your fears. Sing a song of praise back to him!
