Gálatas 5:17
Porque el deseo de la carne es contra el Espíritu, y el del Espíritu es contra la carne; y estos se oponen entre sí, para que no hagáis lo que quisiereis.
Como seres humanos siempre vamos a tener luchas… luchas mentales, luchas emocionales, luchas sociales, etc…
Pero existe un tipo de lucha que es constante, desde que nacemos hasta que morimos; y es la lucha de la carne contra el Espíritu, o lo que otros le llaman la lucha del bien y el mal.
La naturaleza pecaminosa, que en la representación bíblica es la carne, desea hacer el mal, que es precisamente lo contrario de lo que el Espíritu desea. Asimismo el Espíritu de Dios que habita en nosotros nos da deseos que se oponen a lo que desea la carne.
Estas dos fuerzas luchan constantemente entre sí, dentros de nosotros, pero depende de nosotros que es lo que queremos llevar a cabo, y así le daremos cabida según el deseo de nuestra corazón, porque Dios no nos permite ser tentado más de lo que podemos resistir:
1 Corintios 10:13
No os ha sobrevenido ninguna tentación que no sea humana; pero fiel es Dios, que no os dejará ser tentados más de lo que podéis resistir, sino que dará también juntamente con la tentación la salida, para que podáis soportar.
Queda totalmente comprobado con este texto bíblico, que figurativamente la carne hala para abajo y el Espíritu para arriba… por eso debemos darle cabida a las cosas del Espíritu en nosotros.
Cuando le damos prioridad a la voluntad del Espíritu en nosotros podemos recibir la Vida Eterna y Paz.
Romanos 8:6
Si vivimos pensando en todo lo malo que nuestros cuerpos desean, entonces quedaremos separados de Dios. Pero si pensamos solo en lo que desea el Espíritu Santo, entonces tendremos vida eterna y paz.
¡permite que el Espíritu Santo gobierne tu vida, y vivirás eternamente!
Oración:
Padre Celestial, en tus manos están nuestros corazones, y hoy le damos toda libertad a tu Espíritu en nosotros para que nos gobierne, y para que nos use como instrumento de guerra útil en sus manos, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Your Struggles!
Galatians 5:17
For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit is against the flesh; and these are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want.
As human beings we are always going to have struggles … mental struggles, emotional struggles, social struggles, etc …
But there is a type of struggle that is constant, from when we are born until we die; and it is the fight of the flesh against the Spirit, or what others call the fight of good and evil.
The sinful nature, which in the biblical representation is the flesh, desires to do evil, which is precisely the opposite of what the Spirit desires. Likewise, the Spirit of God that dwells in us gives us desires that are opposed to what the flesh desires.
These two forces constantly fight each other, within us, but it is up to us what we want to carry out, and thus we will accommodate it according to the desire of our heart, because God does not allow us to be tempted more than we can resist. :
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation that is not human has come upon you; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted more than you can resist, but he will also give the way out, together with the temptation, so that you can endure.
It is totally proven with this biblical text, that figuratively the flesh pulls down and the Spirit up … that is why we must make room for the things of the Spirit in us.
When we prioritize the will of the Spirit in us we can receive Eternal Life and Peace.
Romans 8: 6
If we live thinking about everything bad that our bodies want, then we will be separated from God. But if we think only of what the Holy Spirit wants, then we will have eternal life and peace.
Let the Holy Spirit rule your life, and you will live forever!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, in your hands are our hearts, and today we give all freedom to your Spirit in us to rule us, and to use us as a useful instrument of war in his hands, in the name of Jesus, amen.
