No sé usted, pero yo tengo mucho más consuelo y pongo mucha más fe en las promesas de Dios que en las promesas del gobierno; (de cualquier gobierno).
La mayoría de especies de palmeras crecen en climas de desierto, llegan a estar firmemente arraigadas incluso en arena movediza, por diseño. Toleran elevadas temperaturas, poca lluvia y fuertes vientos… Y realmente me gusta esta parte: las palmeras producen mejor fruto cuando son más viejas.
Las palmeras pueden florecer donde otros árboles se secarían y morirían, y Dios promete a los justos, quienes tienen una buena relación con Él, florecerán donde otros morirían. Dios diseñó el sistema de raíces de las palmeras de modo distinto al de la mayoría de otros árboles; en lugar de que las raíces se vayan estrechando y haciéndose más pequeñas cuanto más lejos están del tronco, se quedan aproximadamente del mismo tamaño.
Así, esas grandes y anchas raíces se abren camino muy por debajo de las calientes y secas arenas y conectan con el terreno que tiene nutrientes que está mucho más abajo, no solo eso, sino que a diferencia de la mayoría de árboles que tienen una capa exterior de madera muerta, todo el tronco de la palmera está vivo, permitiéndole ser muy flexible, e inclinándose con vientos incluso de fuerza de huracán. Creo que el ayuno es necesario para ayudarnos a hundir nuestras raíces más profundamente en el sólido cimiento de las promesas de Dios para que podamos soportar las tormentas a medida que lleguen y seguir siendo fructíferos. Como escribió el apóstol Pablo:
“Por tanto, de la manera que habéis recibido al Señor Jesucristo, andad en él; arraigados y sobreedificados en él, y confirmados en la fe, así como habéis sido enseñados, abundando en acciones de gracias” (Colosenses 2:6–7).
Llegarán tormentas, algunas tormentas son transicionales por naturaleza.
La transición es un período que muy pocos disfrutan debido a las tormentas que desata.
A veces parece que la vida no es otra cosa sino una gran transición. Precisamente cuando llegas a ser bueno en algo que has estado haciendo por un tiempo, tiene lugar un cambio, y de repente te enfrentas a territorio totalmente nuevo y a aguas no transitadas. La vida le lanza situaciones que usted nunca podría haber planeado o soñado. El cambio es un proceso difícil, pero cuando llegan tormentas transicionales, prueban y fortalecen su sistema de raíces. Sin pasar tiempo esperando en Dios cuando los cielos están despejados, muchos están totalmente desprevenidos para manejar las tormentas de la vida.
La clave es aprender a adorar, a humillarse con ayuno y oración, y buscar el rostro de Dios independientemente de cuál sea la transición.
Pasa tiempo en ayuno y oración, a pesar de cuáles sean tus circunstancias, es lo que te ayudará a estar arraigado y cimentado en su fe, listo para capear cualquier tormenta de la economía, su salud, su familia o su trabajo. Dios puede hacer que usted prospere incluso durante la transición, y las personas que prosperan en tiempos agitados han sido usadas para cambiar destinos.

Amado Dios, gracias porque nos has plantado como palmares que dan fruto abundante a su tiempo, hoy te pedimos que a través de este ayuno nos ayudes a echar raíces más grandes y fuertes, y que podamos crecer en tu gracia, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.

I don’t know about you, but I have much more comfort and I put much more faith in the promises of God than in the promises of the government; (of any government).
Most palm species grow in desert climates, they become firmly rooted even in quicksand, by design. They tolerate high temperatures, little rain and strong winds … And I really like this part: palm trees produce better fruit when they are older.
Palm trees can flourish where other trees would dry up and die, and God promises the righteous, who have a good relationship with Him, they will flourish where others would die. God designed the root system of palm trees differently from most other trees; Instead of the roots narrowing and getting smaller the further away they are from the trunk, they stay roughly the same size.
So those big, broad roots work their way deep under the hot, dry sands and connect with the nutrient-rich soil that is much lower down, not only that, but unlike most trees that have a canopy. dead wood exterior, the entire trunk of the palm tree is alive, allowing it to be very flexible, and lean in even hurricane force winds. I believe that fasting is necessary to help us sink our roots deeper into the solid foundation of God’s promises so that we can weather the storms as they come and remain fruitful. As the apostle Paul wrote:
“Therefore, as you have received the Lord Jesus Christ, walk in him; rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving ”(Colossians 2: 6–7).
Storms are coming, some storms are transitional in nature.
Transition is a period that very few enjoy due to the storms it unleashes.
Sometimes it seems that life is nothing but a great transition. Just when you become good at something you’ve been doing for a while, a change takes place, and suddenly you’re faced with totally new territory and untouched waters. Life throws you situations that you could never have planned or dreamed of. Change is a difficult process, but when transitional storms hit, they test and strengthen your root system. Without spending time waiting on God when the skies are clear, many are totally unprepared to handle the storms of life.
The key is to learn to worship, to humble yourself with fasting and prayer, and to seek God’s face regardless of the transition.
Spending time in fasting and prayer, regardless of your circumstances, is what will help you to be rooted and grounded in your faith, ready to weather any storms in the economy, your health, your family or your job. God can make you prosper even during transition, and people who thrive in troubled times have been used to change destinies.

Dear God, thank you because you have planted us like palm groves that bear abundant fruit in their time, today we ask you that through this fast you help us to put down bigger and stronger roots, and that we can grow in your grace, in the name of Jesus , Amen.
