En el Nuevo Testamento, la misma palabra para salvación significa sanidad, liberación y perdón de los pecados. El Reino trae la solución completa al hombre completamente, y tenemos acceso a esa realidad incluso ahora, tal como lo hizo Jesús a lo largo de Su vida. Muchos creyentes piensan que los milagros y el poder son para el pueblo de Dios ungido y extra especial. Muchos se obsesionan con la idea de que Jesús hizo milagros como Dios, no como hombre. En realidad, Jesús no tenía la capacidad de sanar a los enfermos. No podía echar fuera demonios, y no tenía la capacidad de resucitar a los muertos. Él dijo de sí mismo: “el Hijo no puede hacer nada por sí mismo”. él había puesto
a un lado Su divinidad. Hizo milagros como un hombre en una relación correcta con Dios porque nos estaba presentando un modelo, algo para que lo siguiéramos.
Si Jesús hiciera milagros como Dios, todos estaríamos muy impresionados, pero no tendríamos la obligación de emitarlo. Pero cuando vemos que Dios nos ha comisionado para hacer lo que Jesús hizo, y más, entonces nos damos cuenta de que Él mismo se impuso restricciones para mostrarnos que nosotros también podíamos hacerlo. Jesús se despojó tanto de sí mismo que fue incapaz de hacer lo que el Padre requería de él, sin la ayuda del Padre. Esa es la naturaleza de nuestro llamado: requiere más de lo que somos capaces.
Oración:
Jesús, ayúdame a abrir cada área de mi vida a tu perfecta voluntad. Quiero tener la misma conexión íntima con el Padre que Tú tuviste en la tierra.

In the New Testament, the very word for salvation means healing, deliverance, and forgiveness of sin. The Kingdom brings the complete solution to the whole man, and we have access to that reality even now, just as Jesus did throughout His life. Many believers think miracles and power are for extra-special, anointed people of God. Many get hung up on the idea that Jesus did miracles as God, not man. In reality, Jesus had no ability to heal the sick. He couldn’t cast out devils, and He had no ability to raise the dead. He said of Himself, “the Son can do nothing of Himself.” He had set
aside His divinity. He did miracles as a man in right relationship with God because He was setting forth a model for us, something for us to follow.
If Jesus did miracles as God, we would all be extremely impressed, but we would have no compulsion to emulate Him. But when we see that God has commissioned us to do what Jesus did—and more—then we realize that He put self-imposed restriction on Himself to show us we could do it, too. Jesus so emptied Himself that He was incapable of doing what was required of Him by the Father—without the Father’s help. That is the nature of our call—it requires more than we are capable of.
Prayer:
Jesus, help me to open every area of my life to Your perfect will. I want to have the same intimate connection with the Father as You did on earth.
God tells you:
My desire to be close to you is even stronger than yours, My child. Let Me into every area of your heart and mind. I am safe. Let My overwhelming love empower you beyond what you could even imagine.
