1 Reyes 19:9, 12, 13
“Y allí se metió en una cueva, donde pasó la noche. Y vino a él palabra de Jehová, el cual le dijo: ¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?”.
“(…)Y tras el fuego un silbo apacible y delicado. Y cuando lo oyó Elías, cubrió su rostro con su manto, y salió, y se puso a la puerta de la cueva. Y he aquí vino a él una voz, diciendo: ¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?
Dios nos habla muchas veces a través de detalles que nos parecen insignificantes. En la Biblia, el profeta Elías se fue al desierto huyendo por su vida, y Dios le manifestó su poder con un gran viento, un terremoto y fuego. “Y tras el fuego se escuchó un silbo apacible y delicado. Cuando Elías lo oyó, se cubrió el rostro con el manto, salió y se puso a la puerta de la cueva. Entonces le llegó una voz que le decía: —¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?” (1 Reyes 19:12-13). Fue a través de ese delicado silbo, de ese susurro apacible, que el corazón de Elías fue tocado y Dios pudo hablar con él. ¡Dios nos susurra al oído lo que merecíamos que nos dijese a gritos! Sus palabras son un bálsamo para nuestras almas.
Usted puede estar pensando ¿Cómo puedo entender que Dios está hablándome?
En tu proceso de crecimiento en la relación con el Señor, lo más importante es que te mantengas con un corazón humilde, enseñable y en la presencia del Señor tus sentidos espirituales se van a ir desarrollando y podrás discernir entre el bien y el mal. (Hebreos 5:14).
Vas a encontrar también que en medio de la adoración Dios se revela también a tu vida, el anda buscando quien lo adore en espíritu y en verdad. (Juan 4:23).
¡Nuestros oídos se abren al Señor cuando le alabamos de corazón!
Oración:
Amado Dios, quiero darte gracias por la manifestación de tu poder en mi vida, por ese silbido apacible que demuestra que aún estás conmigo, y me llamas afuera para guiarme y cumplir tus propósitos a través de mí, rindo mi vida a ti, estoy dispuesto para lo que quieras hacer, en el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
Gentle Whisper
1 Kings 19: 9, 12, 13
“And there he went into a cave, where he spent the night. And the word of the Lord came to him, and he said to him: What are you doing here, Elijah?”
“(…) And after the fire a quiet and delicate hiss. And when Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak, and went out, and stood at the door of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him , saying: What are you doing here, Elijah?
God speaks to us many times through details that seem insignificant to us. In the Bible, the prophet Elijah went into the desert fleeing for his life, and God manifested his power to him with a great wind, an earthquake and fire. “And behind the fire a gentle and delicate whistle was heard. When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with the cloak, came out of it, and stood at the door of the cave. Then a voice came to himb saying: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19: 12-13). It was through that delicate whistle, that gentle whisper, that Elijah’s heart was touched and God was able to speak with him. God whisper in our ears what we deserve to be shouted at! His words are a balm for our souls.
You may be thinking, How can I understand that God is speaking to me?
In your process of growth in the relationship with the Lord, the most important thing is that you keep with a humble, teachable heart and in the presence of the Lord your spiritual senses will develop and you will be able to discern between good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14).
You will also find that in the midst of adoration God also reveals himself to your life, he is looking for someone to adore him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23).
Our ears are open to the Lord when we praise Him from the heart!
Prayer:
Dear God, I want to thank you for the manifestation of your power in my life, for that gentle hiss that shows that you are still with me, and you call me outside to guide me and fulfill your purposes through me, I surrender my life to you, I am willing for whatever you want to do, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
