Todos enfrentamos tormentas en la vida algunas veces. Si lo piensa, la mejor manera de estar seguro durante una tormenta natural es refugiarse. Si no busca refugio, la tormenta puede hacerle daño. Bueno, lo mismo ocurre en el plano espiritual.
La Palabra de Dios nos da instrucciones sobre cómo refugiarnos cuando enfrentamos las tormentas espirituales de la vida. El primer lugar al que debe correr cuando una tormenta golpee su vida es el lugar secreto del Altísimo, la presencia de Dios.
El lugar secreto del Altísimo es su presencia y entramos en él por la fe cuando pasamos tiempo con Él. A medida que estudia regularmente la Palabra de Dios y lo invita a todas las áreas de su vida, usted está desarrollando disciplinas espirituales que son más fuertes que cualquier tormenta que pueda enfrentar. Cuando practica estos hábitos, construye muros espirituales de protección a su alrededor en Cristo.

No se preocupe o se asuste cuando se enfrente a las tormentas de la vida. Jesús está con usted y le hablará a su tormenta y hará que los vientos y las olas se calmen en el momento preciso.

Your Strong Shelter
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].
(Psalm 91:1)
We all face storms in life sometimes. If you think about it, the best way to be safe during a natural storm is to take cover. If you do not seek shelter, the storm may harm you. Well, the same thing is true spiritually.
The Word of God gives us instructions on how to take cover when we face the spiritual storms of life. The first place you need to run to when a storm hits in your life is the secret place of the Most High, the presence of God.
The secret place of the Most High is His presence, and we enter it by faith when we spend time with Him. As you regularly study God’s Word and invite Him into all areas of your life, you are developing spiritual disciplines that are stronger than any storm you may encounter. When you practice these habits, you actually construct spiritual walls of protection around yourself in Christ.
Today’s Thought
Don’t worry or become afraid when dealing with the storms of life. Jesus is with you, and He will speak to your storm and cause the winds and the waves to become calm at just the right time.
