Cuando nos acercamos a Cristo, él pone su Espíritu dentro de nosotros. Y el Espíritu del Señor es un espíritu de libertad, de amor, de poder y de valentía. Ya no tenemos ningún derecho a considerarnos personas temerosas. No podemos denominarnos personas tímidas. No podemos actuar con falta de amor hacia los demás. Porque todas y cada una de estas cosas van directamente en contra del Espíritu que ahora mora en nosotros.
Como pueblo de Dios, debemos avanzar hacia adelante para vivir una vida que sea la expresión visible del Dios invisible. Nos ha sido dado poder absoluto para amar, ser valientes y razonar con inteligencia. Lo único que tenemos que hacer es rendir nuestra propia voluntad a Dios para que su Espíritu pueda moverse con libertad en nosotros. Entonces veremos cómo nuestra propia vida, y las vidas de aquellos que nos rodean, acaban siendo transformadas.
Prayer:
Gracias, Dios, por poner tu Espíritu dentro de mí. Tú me has dado tu poder, tu amor y una mente fuerte para hacer tu voluntad y darte gloria. Ayúdame a ser sensible a tu Espíritu para poder representarte bien a lo largo de mi vida.
His Spirit in Us
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 NKJV
When we come to Christ, he puts his Spirit inside of us. And the Spirit of the Lord is a Spirit of freedom, of love, of power, and of courage. We can no longer rightly identify ourselves as fearful people. We can’t call ourselves timid. We can’t act unloving toward others. Because each of those things go directly against the Spirit that is now dwelling within us.
As people of God, we must step forward to live a life that is the visible expression of the invisible God. We have been given full power to love, to be brave, and to think soundly. All we have to do is surrender our own will to God so that his Spirit can move freely in us. Then we will see our own life, as well as the lives of those around us, be transformed.
Prayer:
Thank you, God, for putting your Spirit within me. You have given me your power, your love, and a strong mind to do your will and to bring you glory. Help me to remain sensitive to your Spirit so I can represent you well through my life.
