Tomar de la mano es un acto precioso cuando se hace con amor. Puede que le demos la mano a un niño para cruzar la calle, para ayudar a un anciano desconocido a bajar del bus o para notar el tacto de la piel de nuestro amado mientras paseamos por el parque. El simple acto de tomarnos de la mano durante un momento transmite seguridad, amabilidad y afecto.
Ahora piensa que la mano de Dios hace lo mismo cuando la tiende a aquellos que depositan su fe en él. Es evidente que sus hijos e hijas necesitan la comunión, la orientación y el consuelo espiritual de la mano de Dios más que la que pueda ofrecerles cualquier otra. Y podemos tener la seguridad de que Dios se deleita en tendernos su mano también a nosotros.
Oración:
Padre, hallo consuelo en tu bondad. Tú me diriges con rectitud. No puedo caer cuando sigo tu dirección, porque tu tierna mano nunca me soltará.
His Kindness
The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand. PSALM 37:23-24 NLT
Holding hands is a beautiful act when done in love. We might hold hands with a child to cross the street, to help an aging stranger off of the bus, or to embrace even the smallest part of our beloved while strolling through the park. We grasp hands for a moment, and give safety, kindness, or affection through the simple act.
Can you imagine that God’s hand in this same act is extended to those who put their faith in him? Surely his sons and daughters need the spiritual comfort, guidance, and fellowship of God’s hand more than any other. And we can be certain that God delights in extending his hand to us as well.
Prayer:
Father, I take comfort in your kindness. You lead me rightly. I cannot fall when I follow your lead because your loving grip will never let me go.
