¿Puede recordar la última vez que fue tentado a hacer lo opuesto de lo que sabía que el Señor quería? En lo profundo, usted entendía lo que estaba bien, pero surgió un debate en su mente: ¿Quiere realmente Dios que renuncie a eso? De seguro, esto no es verdaderamente importante para Él. Tales pensamientos surgen porque el enemigo sabe que, si puede incitarle a que desobedezca, conseguirá deshonrar a Dios e impedirá los buenos propósitos que Él tiene para usted.
Entienda que la desobediencia envía el mensaje de que usted sabe cómo gobernar su vida mejor que Dios. Sin embargo, las directrices del Padre surgen del interés profundo que tiene en que usted esté bien. Él le pide obediencia no porque sea un tirano, sino porque no quiere que usted se destruya o pierda el gran futuro que le ha preparado. Cuando rechaza lo que Dios le dice, realmente está rechazando el amor que quiere brindarle.
Aunque el amor eterno de Dios por nosotros no cambia, sin duda nuestro pecado interrumpe la comunión con el Salvador. No permitamos que eso ocurra, tomemos la decisión correcta. Nunca perdemos cuando le obedecemos. Por tanto, sometámonos a Dios y elijamos la senda de sabiduría y bendición.
Oración:
Jesús, tú sabes cuál es el mejor camino para mí. Te obedeceré. Amén.
EMBRACE HIS PATH
You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you. DEUTERONOMY 5:33
Can you recall the last time you were tempted to do the opposite of what you knew the Lord wanted you to do? Deep inside, you understood what was right, but a debate ensued in your mind: Does God really want me to give that up? Surely, that’s not really important to Him. Such thoughts arose because the Enemy knows that if he can entice you to ignore God, you will dishonor the Lord and impede His good purposes for you.
Realize that disobedience sends the message that you know better than God does when it comes to governing your life. However, the Father’s directives for you spring from His deep care for you. He asks for your obedience not because He is a strict taskmaster but because He doesn’t want you to destroy yourself or miss the great future He has for you. When you reject what He tells you, you’re really rejecting His love.
While God’s eternal love for you never changes, your sin certainly disrupts your fellowship with the Savior. Don’t let that happen. Make the right choice. You never lose when you obey Him. So submit to God and choose the way of wisdom and blessing.

Jesus, You know the best way for me. I will obey You. Amen.
