¿Qué tipo de sonidos oyes en un parral o en otro huerto frutal?
Probablemente disfrutes del trinar de los pájaros, del susurro del viento entre las hojas y de otros cánticos al aire libre. Lo que no se oye es el ruido de las vides que gimen o de los árboles que se esfuerzan. Las plantas no trabajan para producir sus frutos, que salen de sus ramas de forma natural como parte del proceso de crecimiento. La vid no tiene que luchar para producir uvas. Cuando las ramas unidas a ella están sanas y tienen toda el agua y los nutrientes que necesitan, las uvas salen en abundancia.
Lo mismo ocurre contigo. El secreto para producir fruto como creyente es tan natural para ti como lo es para una vid: permanecer unido a la vid, centrando toda tu energía y atención en permanecer en Cristo. El fruto de tu vida es un reflejo directo de la calidad de tu relación con Jesús. Así que adóralo, alábalo, medita en sus palabras, busca pasar tiempo a solas con Él, obedécelo y déjate absorber por sus propósitos. Entonces regocíjate en cómo

Bearing Fruit
“As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.”
JOHN 15:4
What kinds of sounds do you hear in a grape arbor or other fruit orchard? You can probably enjoy birds chirping, the wind rustling through leaves, and other outdoor refrains. What you don’t hear is the noise of the vines groaning or trees straining. The plants are not laboring to produce their fruit—it comes out of their branches naturally as a part of the growing process. The vine does not have to struggle to produce grapes. When the branches attached to it are healthy and have all the water and nutrients they need, the grapes come forth in abundance.
The same is true for you. The secret to producing fruit as a believer is as natural for you as it is for a grapevine—you stay joined to the Vine, focusing all of your energy and attention on abiding in Christ. The fruit of your life is a direct reflection of the quality of your relationship with Jesus.
So worship Him, praise Him, meditate on His words, seek solitude in Him, obey Him, and let yourself be absorbed into His purposes. Then rejoice in how He works through you.

Jesus, thank You for doing Your work through me. Keep me close, my Savior, as I abide in You. Amen.
