Nuestros corazones no fueron diseñados para ser seguidos, sino para ser guiados. Nuestros corazones no fueron diseñados para ser dioses en quienes creamos; fueron diseñados para creer en Dios.
Si hacemos que nuestro corazón se vuelva nuestro dios y le pedimos que nos guíe, en última instancia nos llevará hacia una miseria narcisista y hacia la condenación. No puede salvarnos, porque aquello que está mal en nuestro corazón es el corazón de nuestro problema. Pero si nuestros corazones creen en Dios, de la manera en que están diseñados para hacerlo, entonces Dios nos salva y conduce nuestros corazones hacia un gozo profundo.
Por lo tanto, no creas en tu corazón; ordénale a tu corazón que crea en Dios. No sigas a tu corazón; sigue a Jesús. Ten en cuenta que Jesús no dijo a sus discípulos: “No se angustien. Confíen en sus corazones”. Él les dijo: “No se angustien. Confíen en Dios, y confíen también en mí” (Juan 14:1, NVI).
Entonces, aunque tu corazón hoy intentará ser tu pastor, no lo sigas. Ten cuidado incluso al escucharlo. Recuerda, tu corazón solo dice lo que tú quieres escuchar, no te dice adónde debes ir. Entonces, solo ten en cuenta lo que te dice sobre lo que quieres y luego toma tus deseos, tanto los buenos como los malos, y llévaselos a Jesús en petición y confesión.
Jesús es tu Pastor (Salmos 23; Juan 10). Escucha su voz en su Palabra y síguelo. Déjalo ser, el dueño de tú corazón y Él te dará uno nuevo.
Y les daré un corazón, y un espíritu nuevo pondré dentro de ellos; y quitaré el corazón de piedra de en medio de su carne, y les daré un corazón de carne,
Ezequiel 11:19
Tu corazón roto, lleno de amargura, enojo, tristeza, celos, envidia, lo cambiará a ser un corazón sensible a su palabra.
Oración:
Padre queremos tu guía, nuestro corazón es muy engañoso y nos lleva a tomar decisiones no correctas, tenemos emociones que cada vez dañan más nuestras vidas; purifica nuestro corazón, remueve todo lo que no proviene de ti, queremos un corazón nuevo, sensible a tu voz, en el nombre de Jesús ¡Amén!
Who guides your heart?
Give me, my son, your heart, and look at your eyes through my ways.
Proverbs 23:26
Our hearts were not designed to be followed, but to be led. Our hearts were not designed to be gods in what we believe; they were designed to believe in God.
If we make our heart our god and ask it to guide us, it will ultimately lead us to narcissistic misery and condemnation. Our own heart cannot save us, because that which is wrong in our heart is the heart of our problem. But if our hearts believe in God, the way they are designed to do so, then God saves us and leads our hearts to deep joy.
Therefore, do not believe in your heart; command your heart to believe in God. Do not follow your heart; follow Jesus. Keep in mind that Jesus did not say to his disciples: “Do not be anxious. Trust in your hearts.” He said to them: “Do not be anxious. Trust in God, and trust in me also” (John 14:1, NIV).
So, even though your heart today will try to be your shepherd, don’t follow it. Be careful even when listening to it. Remember, your heart only says what you want to hear, it doesn’t tell you where to go. Then, just consider what he tells you about what you want and then take your desires, both good and bad, and take them to Jesus in petition and confession.
Jesus is your Shepherd (Psalm 23; John 10). Listen to His voice in His Word and follow Him. Let it be, the owner of your heart and He will give you a new one.
And I will give them a heart, and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take away the heart of stone from the midst of their flesh, and I will give them a heart of flesh,
Ezekiel 11:19
Your broken heart, full of bitterness, anger, sadness, jealousy, envy, will changed to be a heart sensitive to His word.
Prayer:
Father, we want Your guidance. Our heart is very deceptive and leads us to make wrong decisions. We have emotions that are increasingly damaging our lives; Purify our heart, remove everything that does not come from You. We want a new heart, sensitive to Your voice, in the name of Jesus Amen!
