1 Samuel 17:47
Todos los que están aquí reunidos sabrán que el Señor rescata a su pueblo, pero no con espada ni con lanza. ¡Esta es la batalla del Señor, y los entregará a ustedes en nuestras manos!
David antes de enfrentar al gigante Goliat, el había sido preparado por Dios, David buscaba de Su Presencia y lo adoraba, se fortalecía en Él donde toda su confianza la deposito en Dios y aunque cuando cuidaba de las ovejas de su padre y osos o leones quisieran tomar a las ovejas, el los enfrentaba sin temor porque sabía que su Dios, Jehova de los ejércitos estaba con el.
Y así Dios lo fue preparando con el propósito que un día enfrentaría a un gigante.
Pasar tiempo en comunión con Dios nos protege de los ataques de nuestros enemigos. Cuando recuerdo esto, me siento segura, lo cual es algo que todos deseamos. Aparte un momento varias veces al día para simplemente volver su atención hacia el Señor y declarar: “Sé que estás conmigo y que tú eres mi protector”. Luego tome unos momentos para meditar en ese pensamiento y permitir que lo conforte.
En Su Presencia te fortalezas en la confianza en Él preparándote pata las batallas que ganarás en Él, que es tu “Roca Fuerte”.
Oración:
Dios de Gloria! Muchas son las batallas que nos toca pelear y alguna veces queremos luchar en nuestras fuerzas pero tu nos recuerdas que tu peleas por nosotros y cuando nos sentimos sin fuerzas nos levantas con tu diestra y nos das la victoria en el nombre de Jesús, Amen

All who are gathered here will know that the Lord rescues the people from him, but not with sword or spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will deliver you into our hands!
David before facing the giant Goliath, he had been prepared by God, David sought His Presence and worshiped Him, he strengthened in Him where all his trust was placed in God and although when he took care of his father’s sheep and bears or lions They wanted to take the sheep, he faced them without fear because he knew that his God, Jehovah of armies, was with him.
And so God was preparing him with the purpose that one day he would face a giant.
Spending time in communion with God protects us from the attacks of our enemies. When I remember this, I feel safe, which is something we all want. Set aside a moment several times a day to simply turn your attention to the Lord and declare, “I know that you are with me and that you are my protector.” Then take a few moments to ponder that thought and allow it to comfort you.
In the Presence of him you are strengthened in trust in him preparing yourself for the battles that you will win in him, who is your “Strong Rock”.
Prayer:
God of Glory! Many are the battles that we have to fight and sometimes we want to fight in our own strength but you remind us that you fight for us and when we feel powerless you lift us up with your right hand and give us victory in the name of Jesus, Amen
