Juan 4: 13-19
“Respondió Jesús y le dijo: Cualquiera que bebiere de esta agua, volverá a tener sed; más el que bebiere del agua que yo le daré, no tendrá sed jamás; sino que el agua que yo le daré será en él una fuente de agua que salte para vida eterna. La mujer le dijo: Señor, dame esa agua, para que no tenga yo sed, ni venga aquí a sacarla. Jesús le dijo: Ve, llama a tu marido, y ven acá. Respondió la mujer y dijo: No tengo marido. Jesús le dijo: Bien has dicho: No tengo marido; porque cinco maridos has tenido, y el que ahora tienes no es tu marido; esto has dicho con verdad. Le dijo la mujer: Señor, me parece que tú eres profeta“
Notemos en este encuentro de Jesús con la samaritana, primero le pidió algo, al ser ella honesta y aclarar su postura, Él Señor le ofreció, lo que Él, sí tenía para ella, pero en el siguiente versículo, otra vez la confronta con su realidad y ella sin dudarlo fue honesta con Jesús, aprendamos que solo presentandonos como somos ante Él, que es lo que Él realmente siempre esta anhelando, se revelará más y mucho más a nuestras vidas, y vemos que Jesús no la juzgó, siendo él Dios, no lo hizo, al contrario le ofreció lo que ella necesitaba, así su vida cambiaría, porque lo que ella buscaba en esas diferentes relaciones, que no la saciaban, a través de Él, de beber de sus aguas, de la palabra de amor y de gracia, ella podria rehacer su vida, sus pecados, su pasado quedarían borrados y tendría una nueva oportunidad de empezar de nuevo con la palabra de Dios, como su plan de dirección.
Aclaremos que no le dijo, no te vas a volver a equivocar, pero algo bien claro le dijo: “Que de parte de Él vendria la vida eterna”.
Que aprendimos:
1. Él quiere tener un encuentro con nosotros, nos esta esperando cada dia.
2. El Señor quiere seamos honestos con Él, debemos presentarnos ante Él sin mascaras, tal como somos.
3. Jesús no está esperando que seamos perfectos, ni que despues de tener un encuentro con Él, no cometamos errores; si no que siempre despues de beber de Él, volvamos siempre a Él, porque al conocer de su amor y de su pacto de gracia, vamos a querer beber de Él y encontraremos lo que estamos necesitando.
– Romanos 12:1
Así que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional.
Jesus solo quiere darnos lo mejor la vida eterna; pero siendo Él, el camino, la verdad y la vida…
S. Juan 14:6
Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.
Él transformará por completo nuestras vidas, y te dice hoy, no te preocupes, porque… ¡Lo mejor está por venir!.
Oración:
“Señor Jesús, te doy gracias porque a través de la fe, tengo acceso a tu gracia y tu gracia me conlleva a la salvación, a través del perdón de pecados, hoy te pido que me des de beber de esas aguas salutiferas que solo Tú oh Jesús puedes dar; la cual una vez la tome, nunca más tendré sed, y seré saciado para saltar a la vida eterna junto con Cristo. Amén y amén!”

John 4: 13-19
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Whosoever drinks from this water, he will thirst again; but he that drinketh from the water which I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will be in him a source of water that jumps for eternal life. The woman said unto him, Lord, give me that water, that I may not thirst, neither come here to take it out. Jesus said unto her, Go, call your husband, and come here. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast said, I have no husband; because five husbands you have had, and the one you have now is not your husband; That’s what you really said. The woman said unto him, Lord, it seems to me that thou art a prophet.”
Let us notice in this meeting of Jesus with the Samaritan, He first asked her something, being honest and clarifying her position, He offered her, what He did have for her, but in the next verse, again confronts her with her reality and she without hesitation was honest with Jesus. Let us learn that only by presenting ourselves as we are before Him, which is what He is really always yearning for, will He reveal himself more and more to our lives. And we see that Jesus did not judge her, being God. On the contrary, He offered her what she needed, so her life would change, because what she sought in those different relationships, that did not satisfy her, through Him, to drink from his waters, from the word of love and grace, she could remake her life, her sins, her past would be erased and she would have a new chance to start over with the word of God, as her plan of direction.
Let’s be clear that he did not tell her, you will not go wrong again, but something very clear, “That eternal life would come from Her.”
What we learned:
1. He wants to have an encounter with us, he’s waiting for us every day.
2. The Lord wants to be honest with Him, we must stand before Him without masks, as we are.
3. Jesus is not expecting us to be perfect, nor that after having an encounter with Him, we will not make mistakes; after drinking from Him, let us always return to Him, because by knowing of His love and covenant of grace, we will want to drink from Him and find what we are needing.
– Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Jesus only wants to give us the best eternal life; but Him being, the way, the truth, and the life.
S. Juan 14:6
Jesus said unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.
He will completely transform our lives, and tells you today, don’t worry, because… The best is yet to come.
Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I thank you because through faith, I have access to your grace and your grace brings me to salvation, through the forgiveness of sins. Today I ask you to allow me to drink from those waters that only You O Jesus can give; Once I take it, I will never be thirsty again, and I will be satisfied to jump into eternal life together with Christ. Amen and amen!”
