Dios cumplirá su promesa, pero ¿cumplirá usted la suya poniéndolo a Él primero?
“Yo amo a los que me aman, Y me hallan los que temprano me buscan. —Proverbios 8: 17-19
Las riquezas y la honra están conmigo; Riquezas duraderas, y justicia. Mejor es mi fruto que el oro, y que el oro refinado; Y mi rédito mejor que la plata escogida”.
Como creyente, poniendo a Dios en primer lugar en todas las cosas es la base y el apoyo para cualquier cosa exitosa en la vida.
Cuanto más sabemos quién es Dios, más fuerte se hace nuestra fe.
Debemos hacer que la búsqueda de Su reino y Su presencia sea una prioridad en nuestras vidas.
Desorden / Desobediencia:
Si usted no pone a Dios primero o no tiene a Jesús como su fundamento, usted tendrá desorden y confusión en su vida.
A veces está atascado y su vida sigue siendo un desastre porque tiene cosas fuera de orden.
La caída de Adán, su desobediencia, afectó al resto de las generaciones. Su desobediencia resultó en maldiciones generacionales sobre la humanidad. Pero Jesús estableció un nuevo patrón. Él restableció el orden. Cuando usted le dice “sí” a Jesús, ya no está bajo la maldición del pecado, la muerte, la pobreza y la enfermedad.
Jesús es el fundamento:
Aquellos que construyen sobre Jesús construyen sobre una roca sólida.
Cuando se tiene a Jesús como fundamento, hay una promesa que sigue. Lo que usted haga con el primero establecerá el destino del resto, como un efecto dominó. Lo que haga en las primeras horas del día, por ejemplo, determinará cómo será el resto de su día. Si usted busca a Dios por la mañana, si busca primero el Reino de Dios, todo le será añadido.
“Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas.” – Mateo 6:33
Dedicar:
Todo lo que usted dedica a Dios debe pertenecer únicamente a Dios.
Dedicar significa comprometerse con un acto solemne, entregar o dar directamente. Muestra un profundo compromiso con una causa/creencia. Esta es la expresión más alta de la dedicación a Dios.
“Sino acuérdate de Jehová tu Dios, porque él te da el poder para hacer las riquezas, a fin de confirmar su pacto que juró a tus padres, como en este día.” Deuteronomio 8:18
Cualquiera que dude en dar sus primicias a Dios, o no lo conoce o no sabe cómo trabaja. Cuando usted retiene sus primicias a Dios, está invocando derechos demoníacos para gobernar en su vida. Las primicias no tienen que ser necesariamente dinero. Puede ser el tiempo en que usted se separa para buscar a Dios, su servicio, etc.
“Si las primicias son santas, también lo es la masa restante; y si la raíz es santa, también lo son las ramas.” – Romanos 11:16
Si hay desorden en cualquier área de su vida, si ha estado reteniendo las primicias, y sabe que no ha puesto a Jesús como su fundamento – no es demasiado tarde.
Primero, usted debe arrepentirse. Permita que el Espíritu Santo le muestre las áreas de su vida que están en desorden y las áreas en las que no ha puesto a Dios en primer lugar.
Luego, busque intencionalmente el reino de Dios a través de la lectura de Su Palabra, la adoración, el diezmo, el servicio, etc.
Dios cumplirá su promesa para su vida, pero ¿cumplirá usted la suya poniéndolo a Él primero?
Oración:
Padre Celestial, te doy gracias por tu infinita misericordia y por tu pacto de amor, porque por esto no hemos sido consumidos; aún cuando te he fallado y aún te he puesto a un lado de mi vida, hoy me pongo a cuentas contigo… reconozco que Tú eres el Dios supremo y no hay otro como Tú. A ti te doy el primer lugar en mi vida, ayúdame s seguir adelante en tus caminos.

Putting God first
God will keep his promise, but will you keep yours by putting him first?
Proverbs 8: 17-19
“I love those who love me, and I am found by those who seek me early.
Wealth and honor are with me; Lasting wealth, and justice. Better is my fruit than gold, and than refined gold; And my income better than the chosen silver.”
As a believer, putting God first in all things is the basis and support for anything successful in life.
The more we know who God is, the stronger our faith becomes.
We must make the search for His kingdom and His presence a priority in our lives.
Disorder / Disobedience:
If you do not put God first or do not have Jesus as your foundation, you will have disorder and confusion in your life.
Sometimes he’s stuck and his life is still a mess because he’s got things out of order.
The fall of Adam, his disobedience, affected the rest of the generations. His disobedience resulted in generational curses on humanity. But Jesus established a new pattern. He restored order. When you say “yes” to Jesus, you are no longer under the curse of sin, death, poverty, and sickness.
Jesus is the foundation:
Those who build on Jesus build on a solid rock.
When jesus is founded, there is a promise that follows. What you do with the first will establish the fate of the rest, as a domino effect. What you do in the early hours of the day, for example, will determine what the rest of your day will look like. If you seek God in the morning, if you seek the Kingdom of God first, everything will be added to you.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
Devote:
Everything you dedicate to God must belong only to God.
To dedicate means to commit to a solemn act, to deliver or give directly. It shows a deep commitment to a cause/belief. This is the highest expression of dedication to God.
“But remember the Lord thy God, for he gives thee the power to make the riches, to confirm his covenant which he swore to thy fathers, as in this day.”
– Deuteronomio 8:18
Anyone who hesitates to give their firsts to God, or does not know him or does not know how he works. When you retain your firstfruits from God, you are invoking demonic rights to rule in your life. The first fruits don’t necessarily have to be money. It may be the time when you separate to seek God, his service, etc.
“If the firstfruits are holy, so is the remaining mass; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.”
– Romans 11:16
If there is disorder in any area of your life, if you have been retaining the firstfruits, and you know that you have not put Jesus as your foundation – it is not too late.
First, you must repent. Let the Holy Spirit show you the areas of your life that are in disarray and the areas where you have not put God first.
Then, intentionally seek the kingdom of God by reading His Word, worship, tithing, service, and so on.
God will keep his promise for his life, but will you keep yours by putting him first?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your infinite mercy and for your covenant of love, for this is why we have not been consumed; even when I have failed you and I have still put you aside in my life, today I stand with you… I recognize that You are the supreme God and there is no one like You. I give you the first place in my life, help me move forward in your ways. Amen!
