Números 21:4-6
Luego el pueblo de Israel salió del monte Hor y tomó el camino hacia el mar Rojo para bordear la tierra de Edom; pero el pueblo se impacientó con tan larga jornada y comenzó a hablar contra Dios y Moisés: «¿Por qué nos sacaron de Egipto para morir aquí en el desierto? —se quejaron—. Aquí no hay nada para comer ni agua para beber. ¡Además, detestamos este horrible maná!». Entonces el Señor envió serpientes venenosas entre el pueblo y muchos fueron mordidos y murieron.
Dios le había prometido al pueblo de Israel que los llevaría a la tierra que fluye leche y miel y aunque debían cruzar el desierto, la presencia del Señor iba con ellos, no iba a ser fácil pasar por las dificultades que se presentarán en el desierto pero debían confiar y creer, que Dios los llevaría a este nuevo territorio, ya que Dios no miente.
Números 23:19
Dios no es un hombre, por lo tanto, no miente. Él no es humano, por lo tanto, no cambia de parecer. ¿Acaso alguna vez habló sin actuar? ¿Alguna vez prometió sin cumplir?
Muchas veces nosotros mismos hemos murmurando de las personas más importantes en nuestra vida, como de nuestros padres, líderes, personas que un día nos ofrecieron un bocado de pan, cuando no lo teníamos y dieron lo mejor que podían ofrecer para bendecirnos.
Y en un momento de desesperación, frustración y desanimo decidimos abrir nuestra boca para quejarnos de ellos, olvidando en ese instante, todo lo bueno que hicieron por nosotros.
No olvidemos también de que no somos perfectos, ni estas personas que nos han bendecido son perfectas; cometemos errores todo el tiempo, o algunas veces solo son malos entendidos.
Y podríamos algunas veces excusarnos a nosotros mismos diciendo, “he tenido un mal dia; y me deje llevar por mi frustración, y hable lo que no debía de hablar”.
Dios nos ha dado, dice:
2 Timoteo 1:7
Pues Dios no nos ha dado un espíritu de temor y timidez sino de poder, amor y autodisciplina.
A través del Espíritu Santo podremos poner freno a nuestra boca, y aprender por esta palabra que el murmurar o quejarnos solo traerá más circunstancias desfavorables para nosotros mismos.
Dios quiere que estemos confiados en Él y aunque tengamos momentos o circunstancias difíciles, Él tiene el control de todo, así que muérdete los labios, pon freno a tu boca y para de murmurar y quejarte.
Ya que el hecho de murmurar en contra de los que te han bendecido, parará el fluir de la bendición que Dios te ha dado a través de esa persona, sean tus padres, líderes o jefes.
Y cuando reconocemos que hemos fallado, miremos a la cruz, al que murió por nosotros y nos guía a vivir una vida diferente en victoria
Preguntas para concluir:
-Te equivocaste murmurando de esa persona que tanto te ayudo en otro tiempo y no sabes como reparar lo que hiciste?
-No sabes como cambiar esa mala actitud que tienes de quejarte de todo y por todo?
Oración:
Rey de Poder! mostraste tu Gloria de dia y de noche desde que sacaste al pueblo de Israel de Egipto y aunque vivían de milagro en milagro, no fueron agradecidos y murmuraron;
¡eso te desagrado!, por eso nosotros no queremos ser desagradecidos, ni entrar en queja, y si lo hemos hecho te pedimos perdón; primeramente a ti y luego a cada autoridad que has puesto sobre nosotros, hoy renunciamos a toda queja de nuestros corazones y aprendemos a ser agradecidos, por lo bueno y aun por lo malo porque todo tiene su propósito en nosotros, somos tus hijos y todas las cosas nos ayudan a bien para los que confiamos en ti, por eso hoy bendecimos tu presencia y a cada autoridad en nuestras vidas; en el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
Stop complaining
Numbers 21:4-6
Then the people of Israel left Mount Hor and took the road to the Red Sea to border the land of Edom; But the people grew impatient with such a long journey and began to speak against God and Moses: “Why did they take us out of Egypt to die here in the desert? -they complained-. There is nothing to eat or water to drink here. Besides, we hate this horrible mana! Then the Lord sent poisonous snakes among the people and many were bitten and died.
God had promised the people of Israel that he would take them to a land that flows with milk and honey and although they had to cross the desert, the presence of the Lord was with them, it was not going to be easy to go through the difficulties that would arise in the desert but They had to trust and believe that God would lead them to this new territory, since God does not lie.
Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, therefore He does not lie. He is not human, therefore he does not change his mind. Did he ever speak without acting? Have you ever promised without keeping?
Many times we ourselves have murmured about the most important people in our life, like our parents, leaders, people who one day offered us a bite of bread, when we did not have it and gave the best they could offer to bless us.
And in a moment of despair, frustration and discouragement, we decided to open our mouth to complain about them, forgetting in that moment all the good they did for us.
Let’s not forget also that we are not perfect, nor are these people who have blessed us perfect; We make mistakes all the time, or sometimes they are just misunderstandings.
And we might sometimes excuse ourselves by saying, “I’ve had a bad day; and I got carried away by my frustration, and I spoke what I shouldn’t speak.”
God has given us, says:
2 timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and shyness but of power, love and self-discipline.
Through the Holy Spirit we can put a stop to our mouths, and learn by this word that murmuring or complaining will only bring more unfavorable circumstances for ourselves.
God wants us to be confident in Him and even if we have difficult times or circumstances, He is in control of everything, so bite your lips, put a brake on your mouth and stop murmuring and complaining.
Since the act of murmuring against those who have blessed you, will stop the flow of the blessing that God has given you through that person, be it your parents, leaders or bosses.
And when we recognize that we have failed, let’s look at the cross, who died for us and guides us to live a different life in victory.
Questions to conclude:
-Were you wrong murmuring about that person who helped you so much in another time and you do not know how to repair what you did?
-Do you not know how to change that bad attitude you have of complaining about everything and everything?
Prayer:
King of Power! You showed Your Glory day and night since You brought the people of Israel out of Egypt and although they lived from miracle to miracle, they were not grateful and murmured;
You dislike that! That is why we do not want to be ungrateful, or to complain, and if we have done so, we ask Your forgiveness; first to You and then to every authority You have placed over us, today we renounce all complaints from our hearts and we learn to be grateful, for the good and even for the bad because everything has its purpose in us, we are Your children and all things help us good for those of us who trust in You, that’s why today we bless Your presence and every authority in our lives; In the name of Jesus, amen!
