En el principio, la tierra estaba vacía y las tinieblas estaban sobre la faz del abismo. Dios transformó esta oscuridad con una orden: «Sea la luz». Dios vio la luz y declaró que era buena. La luz es una parte maravillosa de la creación de Dios. Es un reflejo de Dios porque dispersa las tinieblas; nada puede ocultarse ante la luz.
Nuestro Padre celestial es perfecto y, por lo tanto, capaz de darte cosas buenas y perfectas. Puede que ya te sientas bendita por su bondad o quizá te preguntes si acaso has recibido algo perfecto de él. Si dudas de su bondad (lo que en ocasiones no es algo malo), recuerda que te ha dado un amor y gracia perfectos en la forma de Jesucristo. Nada puede cambiar su amor; nada puede hacerle sombra a su misericordia. Permite que esta verdad impregne tu corazón.
Oración:
Padre celestial, gracias por haber creado la luz y porque tú eres una luz en mi mundo. Gracias por mostrarme que eres un Dios bueno y misericordioso. Ayúdame a aceptar que tu bondad hacia mí nunca cambiará.
Father of Light
Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow. JAMES 1:17 TLB
In the beginning, the earth was void and darkness was on the face of the deep. God transformed this darkness with a command: “Let there be light.” God saw the light and declared it good. Light is a magnificent part of God’s creation. It reflects some of God’s nature in that it dispels darkness; nothing hides in the light.
Our heavenly Father is perfect and therefore he is able to give you good and perfect things. You may already feel blessed by his goodness or you may wonder if you have received anything perfect from him. If you doubt his goodness (which Is okay at times), remember that he has given you perfect love and grace in the form of Jesus Christ. Nothing can change his love; nothing can cast a shadow on his mercy. Allow this truth to permeate your heart.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you that you created light, and that you are a light in my world. Thank you for showing me that you are a good and merciful God. Help me to accept that your goodness toward me will never change.
