1 Tesalonicenses 5:17
Así como estudiabamos y meditabamos la palabra el día de ayer, en que debemos presentarnos ante Dios con un corazón humilde; la oración es una manifestación de humildad, porque si sientes la necesidad de orar y de tener una verdadera relación con Dios, es porque reconoces su superioridad, que es tú creador, que por su gracia tienes la vida y no puedes seguir tu vida sin tener un tiempo de oración cada día con El.
En este versículo el Apóstol Pablo manda a orar sin cesar, esto nos habla de constancia, de perseverancia, de persistencia.
Muchas veces he escuchado que orar debe ser para el cristiano como respirar, un acto natural. Y eso es un buen ejemplo.
En ese sentido se podría decir que cuando no oramos, estamos aguantando la respiración “espiritual” ¿sabes lo que eso produce? La muerte o varios trastornos de salud.
De la misma manera cuando no oramos no podemos dejar de sufrir las consecuencias.
▪︎ Malas decisiones.
▪︎ Una vida sin pureza.
▪︎ Una vida desorganizada.
▪︎ Desenfoque de lo prioritario.
▪︎ Nuestro carácter nos domina.
▪︎ No hay confianza ni paz.
▪︎ Dejamos de ser usados por Dios.
▪︎ No hay regocijo al leer las escrituras.
▪︎ Nuestro viejo hombre despierta.
▪︎Muchas veces en nuestro andar cristiano, solemos hacer los mismo, solo invocamos el nombre del Señor luego de haber intentado todo en nuestras fuerzas y cuando ya no podemos más.
Para ser hombres y mujeres de oración es necesario que aprendamos a confiar las cosas más simples de la vida en las manos de Dios. Es imposible que oremos sin cesar si tenemos autosuficiencia en nuestro corazón.
Ora por las cosas simples de la vida. Agradece, alaba, cuéntale lo que pasó en tu día a Dios. Cuéntale las inquietudes de tu corazón. Uno de los beneficios más hermosos de la oración es que no tenemos que parecer correctos delante de Dios y no tenemos que esforzarnos por impresionarle, Él nos conoce y sabe aún nuestros peores pensamientos.
¿Habías pensado en esto? Realmente muchas de las circunstancias desagradables que vivimos en nuestra vida, son el fruto de malas desiciones tomadas en el pasado. Desiciones que tomamos sin orar sinceramente y sin buscar la voluntad y la gloria de Dios.
Muchas veces en nuestro tiempo de oración, Dios nos revela la respuesta a lo que estamos pidiendo a Él.
Por eso no te pierdas de tener estos tiempos de buscar la intimidad con Dios, Él quiere derramar de todo lo bueno, agradable y perfecto de su voluntad en nosotros.
Salmos 55:17
Tarde y mañana y a mediodía oraré y clamaré, Y él oirá mi voz.
Si te cuesta muchas veces orar busca un compañero de oración, esto te ayudará a desarrollar el músculo de la oración y en poco tiempo ya podrás hacerlo solo sin ninguna dificultad.

Padre Eterno! Clamamos ante tu presencia hoy para que nos cubras con tu manto de Oración e Intercesión, para que derrames de tu corazón lleno de clamor y amor en el nuestro, coloca hambre y sed de búsqueda hacia ti; coloca de ese fuego ardiente de adoración e intimidad contigo mi Rey, queremos agradarte y hacer tu voluntad, en el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
Pray without ceasing
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Just as we studied and meditated on the word yesterday, when we must present ourselves before God with a humble heart; Prayer is a manifestation of humility, because if you feel the need to pray and have a true relationship with God, it is because you recognize his superiority, that he is your creator, that by his grace you have life and you cannot continue your life without having a time of prayer each day with Him.
In this verse the Apostle Paul commands us to pray without ceasing, this speaks to us of constancy, of perseverance, of persistence.
Many times I have heard that praying should be like breathing for the Christian, a natural act. And that’s a good example.
In that sense, it could be said that when we don’t pray, we are holding our “spiritual” breath, do you know what that produces? Death or various health disorders.
In the same way when we do not pray we cannot help but suffer the consequences.
▪︎Bad decisions.
▪︎A life without purity.
▪︎A disorganized life.
▪︎ Blurring of priority.
▪︎Our character dominates us.
▪︎There is no trust or peace.
▪︎We stop being used by God.
▪︎There is no joy in reading the scriptures.
▪︎Our old man awakens.
▪︎Many times in our Christian walk, we usually do the same, we only invoke the name of the Lord after we have tried everything in our strength and when we can no longer do it.
To be men and women of prayer, we need to learn to trust the simplest things in life in the hands of God. It is impossible for us to pray without ceasing if we have self-reliance in our hearts.
Pray for the simple things in life. Be grateful, praise, tell what happened in your day to God. Tell him the concerns of your heart. One of the most beautiful benefits of prayer is that we don’t have to appear right in front of God and we don’t have to try to impress Him, He knows us and knows even our worst thoughts.
Have you thought about this? Really many of the unpleasant circumstances that we live in our life, are the fruit of bad decisions made in the past. Decisions we make without sincerely praying and without seeking God’s will and glory.
Many times in our prayer time, God reveals the answer to what we are asking of Him.
So don’t miss out on having these times to seek intimacy with God, He wants to pour out all the good, pleasant and perfect of His will on us.
Psalm 55:17
Evening and morning and noon I will pray and cry, And he will hear my voice.
If you find it difficult to pray many times, find a prayer partner, this will help you develop the muscle of prayer and in a short time you will be able to do it alone without any difficulty.

Eternal father! We cry out to Your presence today so that You cover us with Your mantle of Prayer and Intercession, so that You pour out Your heart full of cry and love in ours, place hunger and thirst for searching towards You; Place that burning fire of adoration and intimacy with You my King, we want to please You and do Your will, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
