La oración del justo es poderosa y eficaz. (Santiago 5:16)
La oración es apasionada. Se trata de sinceridad de corazón y poner todo su corazón en ello. La oración no tiene que ser elocuente o larga. Y la oración no es mejor si es hecha en voz alta o si está doblando las manos o inclinando la cabeza. Es bueno que se humille, pero no es su postura o el tiempo que ora lo que la hace efectiva.
Recuerdo un tiempo en que Dios me retó a pedir lo que quería y necesitaba en la menor cantidad de palabras posible. Esto fue difícil al principio. Pero comenzó a mostrarme que no se trata de cuántas palabras decimos; se trata del corazón detrás de esas palabras.
La Biblia dice que la fe agrada a Dios (Hebreos 11:6), y si creemos que Él existe y lo buscamos, Él nos recompensará. No tenemos que rogarle y suplicarle que nos ayude. ¡Dios es un Dios bueno! Él le ama y quiere lo mejor para usted.

Heartfelt and Persistent Prayer
The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. (James 5:16)
Prayer is passionate. It’s about sincerity of heart and putting your whole heart into it. Prayer doesn’t have to be eloquent or long. And prayer isn’t better if it’s loud or if you’re folding your hands or bowing your head. It’s good to humble yourself, but it’s not your posture or how long you pray that makes it effective.
I remember a time when God challenged me to ask for what I wanted and needed in the fewest number of words possible. This was hard at first. But He began to show me that it’s not about how many words we say; it’s about the heart behind those words.
The Bible says that faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6), and if we believe He exists and seek Him, He will reward us. We don’t have to beg and plead with Him to help us. God is a good God! He loves you and wants what is best for you.
