Isaías 55:8-9
Porque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos, dijo Jehová. Como son más altos los cielos que la tierra, así son mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.
Hay momentos cruciales en nuestras vidas que podríamos identificarnos con alguno de los personajes de la Biblia.
Tal vez tú estas joven y estarás pensando ¿por qué a mi corta edad estoy viviendo este quebranto en mi salud?, o ¿por qué tuve que tener un padre o madre alcohólicos?, o ¿por qué fui abusado?… luego cuestionas: ¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer que me suceda esto?.
Pero analicemos a el Rey David, él mismo lo escribe en el Salmo 51 acerca de las consecuencias caóticas de su adulterio con Betsabé.
Y en el versículo 5 dice: “He aquí, en maldad he sido formado, Y en pecado me concibió mi madre”.
Y así podemos entender porqué cuando Dios comisionó al profeta Samuel a ungir a uno de los hijos de Isaí de Belén como el siguiente rey, David no había sido incluido a estar en la reunión de todos los hijos de Isaí, a causa de su apariencia corporal, (porque no era musculoso o de gran estatura) y también a causa de su corta edad.
Su padre no lo había tenido en cuenta para tan importante momento, pero para Dios él era el escogido; porque Dios no está interesado en tu físico, ni en tu estatus o dinero, sino en un corazón dispuesto a obedecerle.
El hombre razona y tiene siempre ciertos tipos de standars pero Dios no, al igual que Isaí el padre de David, el profeta Samuel al ver a Eliab hermano de David pensó que ese era el escogido.
Pero Samuel el profeta obedecía a Dios y aunque él no entendiera porque debía ser David el próximo rey, lo ungió.
Para varios David no fue la primera opción pero para Dios sí.
No creas que estas descartado por tu pasado para Dios, a él no le importa lo que tú hayas vivido y aunque otros no entiendan porqué Dios te escogió a ti para esa posición, tu propósito se cumplirá.
Así mismo aprende a caminar en la voluntad de Dios y no trates de razonar o entender porque Dios te comanda a hacer algo solo obedece y verás que cada cosa que viene de parte de Dios a tu corazón, tiene un propósito y una gran recompensa.
¡Solo esfuérzate, sé obediente y verás la Gloria de Dios en tu vida!.
Oración:
Dios de Gloria, tuyo es el Reino y el Poder, tú eres el mismo ayer y hoy, a ti obedecemos porque de ti provienen nuestros triunfos, nuestras victorias y nuestras fuerzas para poder seguir caminando, sabiendo que los pensamientos que tienes hacia nosotros son de bien, para llevarnos a nuestro destino de bendición, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Obey even if you don’t understand it.
Isaiah 55: 8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts more than your thoughts.
There are crucial moments in our lives that we could identify with some of the characters in the Bible.
Maybe you are young and you will be thinking why at my young age am I experiencing these issues with my health? Or why did I have to have an alcoholic father? Or why was I abused? … then you question : What have I done to deserve this to happen to me?
But let’s analyze King David, he himself writes it in Psalm 51 about the chaotic consequences of his adultery with Bathsheba.
And in verse 5 he says, “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.”
And so we can understand why when God commissioned the prophet Samuel to anoint one of the sons of Jesse of Bethlehem as the next king, David had not been included in the gathering of all the sons of Jesse, because of his bodily appearance. , (because he was not muscular or tall) and also because of his young age.
His father had not taken him into account for such an important moment, but for God he was the chosen one; because God is not interested in your physique, or your status or money, but in a heart willing to obey him.
The man reasons and always has certain types of standards but God does not, like Jesse the father of David, the prophet Samuel when seeing Eliab brother of David thought that that was the chosen one.
But Samuel the prophet obeyed God and although he did not understand why David should be the next king, he anointed him.
For several David was not the first option but for God, he was.
Do not think that you are discarded by your past for God, he does not care what you have lived and although others do not understand why God chose you for that position, your purpose will be fulfilled.
Likewise, learn to walk in the will of God and do not try to reason or understand why God commands you to do something, just obey and you will see that everything that comes from God to your heart has a purpose and a great reward.
Just push yourself, be obedient, and you will see the Glory of God in your life!
Prayer:
God of Glory, yours is the Kingdom and the Power, you are the same yesterday and today, we obey you because our triumphs, our victories and our strength come from you to be able to continue walking, knowing that the thoughts you have towards us are of good, to take us to our destination of blessing, in Jesus name, amen.
