Lucas 5:5
—Maestro— respondió Simón—, hemos trabajado mucho durante toda la noche y no hemos pescado nada; pero si tú lo dices, echaré las redes nuevamente.
Esperar es difícil, especialmente si esperamos que Dios conteste nuestras oraciones o nos guíe de alguna manera específica. Esto lo agrava el hecho de que vivimos en una sociedad que insiste en resultados inmediatos: comida rápida, envío nocturno, recursos descargables e información al alcance de las manos. Si lo que esperamos no ocurre rápidamente, a menudo nos frustramos y nos sentimos tentados a renunciar y alejarnos.
No obstante, experimentar la plenitud de la voluntad de Dios no es algo que ocurre de inmediato. Ver revelado el plan divino lleva tiempo, practicamente toda una vida. Dios puede darnos una idea de cuál es su voluntad, pero necesitamos la experiencia de una devoción gradual para descubrir el propósito completo que nos tiene.
Ni por instante pensemos que nos equivocaremos si obedecemos a Dios. Pedro hizo lo que Jesús le pidió y sacó tantos peces que las redes comenzaron a romperse. Lo mismo se aplicará a lo que usted enfrenta ahora. Puede que no sepa exactamente porqué Dios le pide que haga algo, pero tenga la seguridad de que si le obedece, experimentará una bendición más allá de lo que pueda imaginar.
Mateo 21:28-31
»¿Pero qué piensan de lo siguiente? Un hombre con dos hijos le dijo al mayor: “Hijo, ve a trabajar al viñedo hoy”. El hijo le respondió: “No, no iré”, pero más tarde cambió de idea y fue. Entonces el padre le dijo al otro hijo: “Ve tú”, y él le dijo: “Sí, señor, iré”; pero no fue. »¿Cuál de los dos obedeció al padre? Ellos contestaron: —El primero. Luego Jesús explicó el significado: —Les digo la verdad, los corruptos cobradores de impuestos y las prostitutas entrarán en el reino de Dios antes que ustedes.
Y algún momento podrías preguntarte porqué debo hacer esto y tal vez digas que no lo quieres hacer, pero entendiendo que Dios te ama y que nunca te hará hacer algo que no vaya a ser de bendición para ti o para otros, a la final lo harás.
¡Recuerda siempre que lo que haces determina tu futuro y el de las personas que te rodean!.
Oración:
Padre celestial, tuyo es el Reino y el Poder, tú eres el mismo ayer y hoy, a ti obedecemos porque de ti provienen nuestros triunfos, nuestras más grandes bendiciones y recompensas, hoy declaramos que tus pensamientos hacia nosotros son de bien, para llevarnos a nuestro destino de bendición, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Obey even if you don’t understand!
Luke 5: 5
“Master,” said Simon, “we have worked hard all night and we have not caught anything; but if you say so, I’ll cast the nets again.
Waiting is difficult, especially if we expect God to answer our prayers or guide us in some specific way. This is compounded by the fact that we live in a society that insists on immediate results: fast food, overnight shipping, downloadable resources, and information at our fingertips. If what we expect doesn’t happen quickly, we often get frustrated and tempted to give up and walk away.
However, experiencing the fullness of God’s will does not happen immediately. Seeing the divine plan revealed takes time, practically a lifetime. God can give us an idea of what His will is, but we need the experience of gradual devotion to discover His full purpose for us.
Let us not think for an instant that we will be wrong if we obey God. Peter did as Jesus asked and pulled out so many fish that the nets began to break. The same will apply to what you are facing now. You may not know exactly why God is asking you to do something, but rest assured that if you obey Him, you will experience a blessing beyond anything you can imagine.

And at some point you might wonder why I should do this and you may say that you don’t want to do it, but understanding that God loves you and that he will never make you do something that is not going to be a blessing for you or for others, in the end you will. .
Always remember that what you do determines your future and that of the people around you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, yours is the Kingdom and the Power, you are the same yesterday and today, we obey you because our triumphs come from you, our greatest blessings and rewards, today we declare that your thoughts towards us are good, to lead us to our destiny of blessing, in the name of Jesus, amen.
