Colosenses 3:23-24
Y todo lo que hagáis, hacedlo de corazón, como para el Señor y no para los hombres; sabiendo que del Señor recibiréis la recompensa de la herencia, porque a Cristo el Señor servís.
En este tiempo vemos en la redes sociales imagines y videos de grupos de personas y parejas riendose, enamorados compartiendo felices pero esta no es nuestra realidad, las redes sociales pareciera como una recopilacion de ilusiones.
La realidad es que nos enfrentamos cada día a situaciones adversas con personas heridas que anhelan ser aceptadas, otras que tienen una actitud agresiva que van por el mundo queriendo hacer lo que desean sin importar lo que tengan que hacer para lograrlo; entonces tu caminar como hijo de Dios se pone un poco complicado… ¿no les ha pasado que vas manejando tu vehículo y por ejemplo, reduces la velocidad porque estás buscando una dirección y los conductores que van detrás de ti, te empiezan a decir cosas vulgares o te pitan?.
O inclusive en la iglesia, tus hermanos de la fe mal interpretan lo que has hecho y ni siquiera tienen el detalle de preguntarte lo que realmente pasó, si no que te juzgan y para completar se enojan contigo porque asumen cosas que no son la realidad.
Analicemos algo, la vida es tan corta y hay tantas cosas por hacer que no podemos perder tiempo en estas pequeñeces.
Y aunque se nos sea difícil tratar con amor a estas personas que no les interesa nadie más, sino ellos mismos, pidamosle a Dios que nos de su amor para poderles dar a ellos lo que proviene de él que es el perfecto amor, no el amor que proviene de nosotros, porque la verdad no lo lograremos, en nuestra humanidad será muy difícil responder con amor sino tenemos el amor de Cristo en nuestros corazones, sabemos de ante mano que no recibiremos nada a cambio de esas personas pero Dios que es tu padre te recompensará grandemente.
Oración:
Amado Padre Celestial, gracias por tu perfecto amor que nos cubre en todo tiempo, y nos ayuda a entender que obedecemos tu palabra porque Jesús murió por nosotros y nos amó, antes de que le amaramos a él, hoy recibo la revelación de que cuando te servimos sin esperar nada a cambio, nuestro galardón proviene de ti, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Obey God even if you don’t receive benefits.
Colossians 3: 23-24
And whatever you do, do it from the heart, as for the Lord and not for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, because you serve Christ the Lord.
At this time we see on social networks images and videos of groups of people and couples laughing, in love, spending time together happily but this is not our reality, social networks seem like a compilation of illusions.
The reality is that we face adverse situations every day with injured people who yearn to be accepted, others who have an aggressive attitude who go around the world wanting to do what they want no matter what they have to do to achieve it; So your walk as a child of God gets a bit complicated … Has this ever happened to you? Let’s say for example you are driving your vehicle and, and you slow down because you are looking for n address and the drivers behind you start to yell vulgar things or honk their horns?
Or even in church, your brothers in faith misinterpret what you have done and do not even bother asking you what really happened, instead they judge you and on top of that they get angry with you because they assume things that are not true.
Let’s analyze something, life is so short and there are so many things to do that we cannot waste time on these little things.
And although it is difficult for us to treat these people with love who are not interested in anyone else but themselves, let us ask God to give us his love so that we can give them what comes from him, which is perfect love. Not love that comes from us, because the truth will not succeed. In our humanity it will be very difficult to respond with love if we do not have the love of Christ in our hearts. We know in advance that we will not receive anything in exchange with those people, but God who is your father, will reward you greatly.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your perfect love that covers us at all times, and helps us understand that we obey your word because Jesus died for us and loved us, before we loved him, today I receive the revelation that when we serve you without expecting anything in return, our reward comes from you, in the name of Jesus, amen.
