Genesis 15:1
Después de estas cosas vino la palabra de Jehová a Abram en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abram; yo soy tu escudo, y tu galardón será sobremanera grande.
Efesios 6:16
Sobre todo, tomad el escudo de la fe, con que podáis apagar todos los dardos de fuego del maligno.
Como hijos de Dios vivimos en una constante guerra espiritual porque pertenecemos al Reino de Luz y el Reino de las Tinieblas quiere destruirnos; nuestro enemigo Satanás y sus demonios, no estan interesados en hacer un pacto de paz con nosotros. Por el contrario nos dice:
1 Pedro 5:8-9
¡Estén alerta! Cuídense de su gran enemigo, el diablo, porque anda al acecho como un león rugiente, buscando a quién devorar.
El enemigo conoce muy bien tus debilidades y siempre va a tratar de que peques y de alguna manera u otra ser estorbo en tu caminar con Dios, para que no cumplas el propósito en tu vida.
Muchas veces escuchamos experiencias de algunas personas que parecen cuentos de hadas y muchos creen que no son reales, o que la persona tiene problemas mentales, si esta teniendo esta clase de episodios, como por ejemplo:
– En medio de la noche sentirse paralizado, como que algo está sobre ti y no puedes hablar, ni moverte.
-Ven sombras negras que los rodean o persiguen.
– Algunos han tenido la experiencia de tomar fotos y la foto capturó un espíritu.
– Algunas personas al despertarse ven en su cuerpo arañazos y moretones.
Estas experiencias dan evidencia que hay un mundo espiritual real, pero que aunque no tengamos esta clase de vivencias, no significa que no estamos siendo atacados constantemente.
Por eso la palabra nos llama a estar siempre alertas y reconocer que 《nuestra guerra no es contra carne y sangre》, Efesios 6:12, por lo tanto no enfrentandonos contra las personas que nos rodean o permitiendo que las cosas de este mundo nos guien a pecar o a confusión y mentira.
A través de la búsqueda y relación que establecemos con el Espíritu Santo, empezamos a ser transformados y nos convertimos en guerreros del Reino de Dios.
2 Tesalonicenses 3:3
Pero el Señor es fiel; él los fortalecerá y los protegerá del maligno.
Y asi reconociendo que es nuestro Padre Celestial que nos equipa y nos enseña a luchar en el espíritu, apropiandonos de su palabra.
Salmos 119:133
Guía mis pasos conforme a tu palabra, para que no me domine el mal.
Nos alimentamos espiritualmente a través de la palabra de nuestro Padre Celestial, fluyendo en el poder sobrenatural que se establece cuando la creemos y la declaramos; empieza a fluir en nosotros, el Espíritu Santo, sus rios de agua viva y asi este fluir se convierte en un escudo, es como si tomarás el escudo y lo pusieras en frente tuyo y los dardos de fuego del infierno que vienen hacia ti, a destruirte, se apagarán a causa de la abundancia de agua, “su palabra”, que fluye en ti con el poder del Espíritu Santo
Podemos ganar la batalla, si estamos llenos de Él, de su Santo Espíritu, de sus aguas vivas.
Juan 4:14
pero todos los que beban del agua que yo doy no tendrán sed jamás. Esa agua se convierte en un manantial que brota con frescura dentro de ellos y les da vida eterna.
Ejemplos de dardos de Satanás:
▪︎Los pensamientos de culpabilidad te hacen sentir que no eres digno para acercarte a la presencia de Dios.
Tu declaras la palabra:
No hay ninguna condenación, para aquellos que están en Cristo Jesús, cuando con corazón arrepentido pide perdón por sus pecados.
▪︎La duda, es justo lo contrario de la fe. Sin fe no podemos agradar a Dios y cuando la duda entra en nuestras vidas, ya no estamos caminando en fe, en consecuencia ya no agradamos a Dios. Cuando viene la duda, el enemigo me saca del propósito. Siempre de lo que dudas, es aquello que Dios ha planeado hacer. El diablo envía la duda, porque ha oído que lo pediste a Dios y sabe que el que pide recibe y necesita hacer algo para que no lo logres.
▪︎No dudes de tu sanidad, ni de tu bendición, ni de tu llamado o sueño, Dios lo va a hacer.
▪︎Otro de los dardos del enemigo es el temor. El temor es justo lo contrario a la confianza en Dios. Cuando el diablo nos plantea un pensamiento como ¡No podré!, ¡No tengo fuerza!, etc. Estas anunciando y declarando proféticamente que no puedes y automáticamente te destinas al fracaso. El te pone el pensamiento, temes y tu lo activas.
▪︎Tu crees y declaras:
“Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de cobardía, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio”. 2 TIMOTEO 1:7
Preguntas para concluir:
▪︎¿Has tratado en otro tiempo de calmar tu sed por otros medios? ¿Te gustaría ahora calmar tu sed con las aguas que te da Jesús?
▪︎¿Cómo se ha manifestado la plenitud del Espíritu Santo en tu vida ?
Oración:
Padre grande y Poderoso! Eres nuestro escudo y fortaleza, proteges a los que claman tu nombre y aun a los que no claman tienes misericordia, te pedimos que tu presencia nos cubra; que los ríos de agua viva fluyan en nuestro ser para que nuestra fe sea levantada como escudo; que el temor se desvanezca con el poder de tu amor y poder caminar en valentía, amor y dominio propio para no caminar en los deseos de la carne si no en los tuyos mi Dios, en el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
Our-Shield
Genesis 15: 1
After these things came the word of the Lord to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram; I am your shield, and your reward will be exceedingly great.
Ephesians 6:16
Above all, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one.
As children of God we live in constant spiritual warfare because we belong to the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness wants to destroy us; our enemy Satan and his demons are not interested in making a pact of peace with us. On the contrary, it tells us:
1 Peter 5: 8-9
Be alert! Beware of your great enemy, the devil, because he prowls like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
The enemy knows your weaknesses very well and will always try to make you sin and in some way or another be an obstacle in your walk with God, so that you do not fulfill the purpose in your life.
Many times we hear experiences of some people that seem like fairy tales and many believe that they are not real, or that the person has mental problems, if they are having these kinds of episodes, such as:
– In the middle of the night feeling paralyzed, like something is on you and you cannot speak or move.
-You see black shadows that surround or chase you.
– Some have had the experience of taking photos and the photo captured a spirit.
– Some people wake up to see scratches and bruises on their body.
These experiences give evidence that there is a real spiritual world, but that although we do not have these kinds of experiences, it does not mean that we are not constantly being attacked.
That is why the word calls us to always be alert and recognize that 《our war is not against flesh and blood》, Ephesians 6:12, therefore not facing us against the people around us or allowing the things of this world to guide us to sin or to confusion and lies.
Through the search and relationship that we establish with the Holy Spirit, we begin to be transformed and we become warriors of the Kingdom of God.
2 Thessalonians 3: 3
But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen them and protect them from the evil one.
And thus recognizing that it is our Heavenly Father who equips us and teaches us to fight in the spirit, appropriating his word.
Psalm 119: 133
Guide my steps according to your word, so that evil does not dominate me.
We nourish ourselves spiritually through the word of our Heavenly Father, flowing in the supernatural power that is established when we believe and declare it; begins to flow in us, the Holy Spirit, its rivers of living water and so this flow becomes a shield, it is as if you take the shield and put it in front of you and the fire darts of hell that come towards you, to destroy you, they will be quenched because of the abundance of water, “His word”, which flows in you with the power of the Holy Spirit
We can win the battle, if we are filled with Him, with His Holy Spirit, with His living waters.
John 4:14
But all who drink the water that I give will never be thirsty. That water becomes a spring that flows freshly within them and gives them eternal life.
Examples of Satan’s darts:
▪︎The thoughts of guilt make you feel that you are unworthy to approach the presence of God.
You declare the word:
There is no condemnation, for those who are in Christ Jesus, when with a repentant heart they ask forgiveness for their sins.
▪︎Doubt is just the opposite of faith. Without faith we cannot please God and when doubt enters our lives, we are no longer walking in faith, consequently we no longer please God. When doubt comes, the enemy takes me out of purpose. Always what you doubt is what God has planned to do. The devil sends the doubt, because he has heard that you asked God and he knows that the one who asks receives and needs to do something so that you do not achieve it.
▪︎Don’t doubt your healing, or your blessing, or your calling or dream, God will do it.
▪︎Another of the enemy’s darts is fear. Fear is the exact opposite of trust in God. When the devil poses a thought to us like I won’t be able! I have no strength! Etc. You are prophetically announcing and declaring that you cannot and automatically doom yourself to failure. He puts the thought in you, you fear and you activate it.
▪︎You believe and declare:
“Because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love and self-control.” 2 TIMOTHY 1: 7
Questions to conclude:
▪︎Have you ever tried to quench your thirst by other means? Would you now like to quench your thirst with the waters that Jesus gives you?
▪︎How has the fullness of the Holy Spirit manifested itself in your life?
Prayer:
Great and Powerful Father! You are our shield and strength, You protect those who call out Your name and even those who do not cry out, You have mercy, we ask that Your presence cover us; that the rivers of living water flow in our being so that our faith is raised as a shield; May fear vanish with the power of Your love and to be able to walk in courage, love and self-control so as not to walk in the desires of the flesh but in Yours my God, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
