1 Pedro 1:18-20
Pues Dios los ha rescatado a ustedes de la vida sin sentido que heredaron de sus antepasados; y ustedes saben muy bien que el costo de este rescate no se pagó con cosas corruptibles, como el oro o la plata, sino con la sangre preciosa de Cristo, que fue ofrecido en sacrificio como un cordero sin defecto ni mancha. Cristo había sido destinado para esto desde antes que el mundo fuera creado, pero en estos tiempos últimos ha aparecido para bien de ustedes.
Rescatar es la palabra clave en este pasaje. Este término significa “comprar la liberación pagando un rescate” o “poner en libertad pagando un precio”. Para los griegos, esta palabra era también el término técnico de pagar dinero para comprar de nuevo a un prisionero de guerra. ¡Dios tuvo que pagar el precio de rescate por ti! ¡Y por mí!
No hay una situación difícil del que no te pueda rescatar, de pronto llegaste a vivir esa circunstancias difíciles porque no escuchaste a Dios, el te estaba previniendo de que no metieras tus narices en ese lugar, como por ejemplo:
▪︎te involucraste en una relación que no te convenía.
▪︎invertiste tu dinero, en un negocio que solo a traído pérdidas.
▪︎te dejaste llevar por tus emociones y heriste los corazones de tus seres queridos.
▪︎fuiste ingenuo y te dejaste llevar por malos consejos.
▪︎una mala decisión te tiene en una situación y te sientes entre la espada y la pared.
▪︎estas batallando contigo mismo y estas en depresión o desanimado y quieres tirar la toalla.
Solo Jesús te lleva de la desesperación a su descanso, solo el con la diestra de su justicia, extiende su brazo y te saca de ese abismo, en donde estás.
Desde la perspectiva humana, nuestro Señor fue asesinado cruelmente. Pero desde la perspectiva divina. ¡Jesús dio Su vida por los pecadores! Cuando Isaac hizo la pregunta en Génesis 22:7, “¿Dónde está el cordero para el holocausto?” Juan el Bautista la contestó, años después, señalando a Cristo, y diciendo: “He aquí el Cordero de Dios, que quita el pecado del mundo”.
El cuando murió en la cruz, pagó por tu rescate y descendió a los abismos del infierno y venció, tomando las llaves de la puerta, que podrás cruzar y entrar a una temporada completamente diferente.
Romanos 10:7-11
Pero de la justicia basada en la fe, se dice: «No pienses: “¿Quién subirá al cielo?” —esto es, para hacer que Cristo baje—; o “¿Quién bajará al abismo?”» —esto es, para hacer que Cristo suba de entre los muertos. ¿Qué es, pues, lo que dice?: «La palabra está cerca de ti, en tu boca y en tu corazón.» Esta palabra es el mensaje de fe que predicamos. Si con tu boca reconoces a Jesús como Señor, y con tu corazón crees que Dios lo resucitó, alcanzarás la salvación. Pues con el corazón se cree para alcanzar la justicia, y con la boca se reconoce a Jesucristo para alcanzar la salvación. La Escritura dice: «El que confíe en él, no quedará defraudado.»
El es tu Salvador y Redentor, no solo de tu alma, sino también de toda situación que estés viviendo.
Sino has reconocido a Jesús como tu Salvador te invitamos a que declares hoy en oración:
Perdóname Señor por que me he dejado influenciar por las cosas de este mundo y por mis emociones, sin buscar tu dirección.
Hoy reconozco que tu eres mi salvador, mi redentor, eres el cordero inmolado de Dios, el hijo de Dios que esta sentado a la derecha del Padre y peleas la batalla por mi.
Hoy decido creer que tu te glorificas en mis debilidades.
Te amo Señor Jesús y decido hoy confiar en ti.
En el nombre de Jesús oró. Amén!
He rescues us
1 Peter 1: 18-20
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.
Rescue is the key word in this passage. This term means “to buy release by paying a ransom” or “to release by paying a price.” For the Greeks, this word was also the technical term for paying money to buy back a prisoner of war. God had to pay the ransom price for you! And for me!
There is no difficult situation from which I cannot rescue you, suddenly you came to live those difficult circumstances because you did not listen to God, he was preventing you from sticking your nose in that place, such as:
▪︎you got into a relationship that did not suit you.
▪︎you invested your money in a business that only brought losses.
▪︎you got carried away by your emotions and you hurt the hearts of your loved ones.
▪︎you were naive and got carried away by bad advice.
▪︎ A bad decision has you in a situation and you feel between a rock and a hard place.
▪︎you are struggling with yourself and are depressed or discouraged and want to throw in the towel.
Only Jesus leads you from despair to his rest, only he with his right hand of justice, he extends his arm and takes you out of that abyss, where you are.
From the human perspective, our Lord was cruelly murdered. But from the divine perspective. Jesus gave his life for sinners! When Isaac asked the question in Genesis 22: 7, “Where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” John the Baptist answered it, years later, pointing to Christ, and saying: “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”
When he died on the cross, he paid for your ransom and descended into the depths of hell and conquered, taking the keys to the door, that you can cross and enter a completely different season.
Romans 10: 7-11
“or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. He is your Savior and Redeemer, not only of your soul, but also of every situation you are experiencing.

Forgive me Lord because I have been influenced by the things of this world and by my emotions, without seeking your direction.
Today I recognize that you are my savior, my redeemer, you are the slain lamb of God, the son of God who is sitting at the right hand of the Father and you fight the battle for me.
Today, I decide to believe that you glorify yourself in my weaknesses.
I love you Lord Jesus and I decide today to trust you.
