Por la fe entendemos que todo el universo fue formado por orden de Dios, de modo que lo que ahora vemos no vino de cosas visibles.

Entender también significa rendirse ante algo antes de que podamos explicarlo, definirlo o describirlo. La comprensión bíblica supera ampliamente el intelecto. Nuestra fe no está basada en que entendemos, pero la entendemos porque tenemos fe. En otras palabras, es inevitable aceptar y comprender las cosas sin satisfacer por completo nuestro intelecto. Cuando leo la Biblia, no siempre entiendo lo que estoy leyendo. El aprendizaje bíblico tiene lugar primero en el espíritu y, a medida que obedecemos al Espíritu de Dios, nuestro espíritu lo comunica a nuestra mente para que lo entendamos intelectualmente. Pero el entendimiento no es necesario para la obediencia. Un cristiano normal es aquel que obedece las revelaciones y los impulsos del Espíritu Santo sin entender.
La Revelación nos lleva solo a la mitad del camino; la experiencia nos lleva hasta el final. Será de gran frustración para nuestro crecimiento espiritual si no pasamos a la experiencia, lo que se nos fue revelado permanecerá encerrado en nuestra mente, y nos engañamos pensando que está activa en nuestra vida. La próxima vez que escuchemos un mensaje sobre ayudar a los pobres, podríamos decir: “Amén. Ya que otros necesitan escuchar nuestro apoyo ”, a pesar de que no hemos hecho nada para ayudar a los pobres. Oír sin hacer, nos ha encerrado en una forma sin poder. La revelación debe cambiar nuestros corazones, y no solo ser oidores, sino hacedores, antes de que podamos explicar lo que aprendimos.
Oración:
Convénceme, Padre, en cualquier área donde la desobediencia se haya manifestado como apatía, duda o desconfianza. Sensibiliza mi corazón a los impulsos del Espíritu Santo y dame la valentía para hacer tu voluntad.
Dios te dice:
Todo lo que hago es para su beneficio, pero en última instancia es para que Mi gloria se revele sobre la tierra. Levanta tu rostro, acércate a Mí y deja que la verdad te transforme.
You don’t need to understand to obey
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:3
To understand also means yielding to something before we can explain, define, or describe it. Biblical understanding far surpasses the intellect. We don’t have faith because we understand, but we understand because we have faith. In other words, it is imperative to accept and understand things without completely satisfying our intellect. When I read the Bible, I don’t always understand what I’m reading. Biblical learning takes place in the spirit first and, as we obey the Spirit of God, our spirit communicates it to our minds so we intellectually understand. But understanding is not required for obedience. A normal Christian is one who obeys the revelations and promptings of the Holy Spirit without understanding.
Revelation takes us only halfway there; experience leads us all the way. The great tragedy is that if we don’t move into experience, that revelation remains locked in our minds so we think it’s active in our life. The next time we hear a message about helping the poor we might say, “Amen. The other people in this room need to hear that,” even though we have done nothing to help the poor. Hearing without doing has locked us into a form without power. Revelation should change our hearts before we could ever explain what we learned.
Prayer:
Convict me, Father, in any area where disobedience has manifested as apathy, doubt, or mistrust. Sensitize my heart to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and give me the boldness to follow.
God tells you:
Everything I do is for your benefit, but it is ultimately so that My glory would be revealed upon the earth. Lift up your face, come near to Me, and allow the truth to transform you.
