A veces, esta vida puede ser muy solitaria e incierta, ya sea por circunstancias fuera de nuestro control o debido a nuestras propias decisiones. Sin embargo, como creyente, no tienes que sobrevivir solo al camino de la fe. De hecho, ningún cristiano ha sido llamado a recorrerlo solo, sin el ministerio de otros creyentes. Se nos instruye a congregarnos para la instrucción mutua, la exhortación, la edificación y el ministerio a aquellos que aún no han puesto su fe en Cristo. Cuando estudiamos las Escrituras, escuchamos la Palabra, oramos y adoramos juntos, hallamos fuerza y esperanza.
Ahora bien, entiendo que a veces nuestras experiencias en la iglesia no sean del todo positivas. De hecho, pueden ser francamente hirientes. El enemigo hará todo lo posible para causar disensión y dañar nuestras relaciones. No le dejemos ganar. Dios nos ha diseñado de tal manera que no solo lo necesitamos a Él con desesperación, sino que también nos necesitamos los unos a los otros. Por lo tanto, si te has distanciado de un cuerpo local, pídele al Señor que te guíe a una iglesia donde puedas encontrar el aliento piadoso, el apoyo y la instrucción que necesitas.
Oración:
Jesús, perdóname por las veces que soy reacio a congregarme. En tu sabiduría, guíame a una iglesia donde tú estés presente con tu gloria. Amén.
Gather Together
Let us not neglect our meeting together . . . but encourage one another. HEBREWS 10:25 NLT
Sometimes this life can be very lonely and uncertain, whether because of circumstances outside of our control or due to our own choices. However, as a believer, you do not have to survive the journey of faith by yourself. Indeed, no Christian has ever been called to go it alone, apart from the ministry of other believers. We are instructed to gather together for mutual instruction, encouragement, edification, and ministry to those who have not yet placed their faith in Christ. As we study Scripture, listen to the Word, and pray and worship together, we find strength and hope.
Now, I understand that at times, our church experiences may not be altogether positive. In fact, they can be downright wounding. The Enemy will go to great lengths to cause dissension and damage our relationships. Do not let him win. God has so designed us that not only do we need Him desperately, but we also need one another. Therefore, if you have distanced yourself from a local body, ask the Lord to lead you to a church where you can find the godly encouragement, support, and instruction you need.
Prayer:
Jesus, forgive me for the times when I am reluctant to become involved. In Your wisdom, place me in a local church where You are gloriously present. Amen.
