Aveces podemos tener un anhelo o inquietud interior que no logramos definir. Es más, este puede ser tan sutil y constante que aprendemos a vivir con eso. Pero la verdad del asunto es: algo está destrozado o perdido dentro de nosotros, algo que simplemente no está bien. Y cada vez que intentamos aplacar tal anhelo no logramos hacerlo y terminamos sintiéndonos peor.
La buena noticia es que Jesús lleva ante el Padre todas las necesidades que tenemos, incluso aquellas de las que no nos damos cuenta. Él está muy consciente de nuestras deficiencias, limitaciones y faltas, y comprende las heridas y los patrones de comportamiento que nos mueven. Jesús comprende dónde se originan las motivaciones y los anhelos que tenemos, y reconoce la mejor manera de ayudarnos a crecer. Debido al profundo amor que nos tiene, Jesús lleva todo eso ante el Padre.
No hay oración que Jesús haga a favor suyo que el Padre no escuche o responda, porque Él y el Padre son uno (Juan 10:30). Por eso, aunque a veces no tenga idea de qué orar, no tiene razón para temer. Jesús ya está ayudándole. Él toma medidas a su favor, para su bien y a fin de suplirle sus necesidades.
Oración:
Jesús, gracias por orar por mí y satisfacer mis necesidades más profundas. Amén.
UNSEEN NEEDS
He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf. HEBREWS 9:24 NLT
At times there may be an inner restlessness or yearning within you that you cannot define. In fact, it may be so subtle and so consistent that you learn to live with it. But the truth of the matter is that something is broken or missing within you—it’s just not right. And every time you try to assuage it, you miss the mark and end up feeling worse.
The good news is that Jesus brings every need you have to the Father—even ones you do not realize are there. He is well aware of your inadequacies, limitations, and faults. He comprehends the wounds and behavioral patterns that drive you. He realizes where your motivations and yearnings originate. He recognizes the best way to help you grow. And out of His deep love for you, Jesus brings it all to the Father.
There is no prayer that Jesus prays on your behalf that goes unheeded or unanswered by the Father, because He and the Father are one (John 10:30). So even though at times you have no idea what to pray, you have no reason to fear. Jesus is already helping you. He takes action on your behalf, for your good, in order to meet your need.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for praying for me and for meeting my deepest needs. Amen.
