Yo sé que mi Redentor vive, y al fin se levantará sobre el polvo. JOB 19:25 (RV60)
Si conoces la historia de Job, sabrás que Dios le permitió sufrir muchísimo: perdió su familia, su salud y sus riquezas. Seguro que nos identificamos con Job en su lucha para comprender a Dios y la futilidad de la vida.
En medio del sufrimiento, la única cosa a la que quizá somos capaces de aferrarnos es a una declaración. Aunque Job no podía comprender su sufrimiento ni los caminos de Dios, él declaró con sus labios lo que sabía en su corazón: «Mi Redentor vive». Cobra ánimos al meditar en esta declaración. Dios es el único que tiene la última palabra, tanto para tu vida como para esta tierra, ¡y tú puedes proclamar con atrevimiento que él vive!
Oración:
Señor Dios, gracias por los hombres y las mujeres que anduvieron sobre esta tierra antes que nosotros y que demostraron una fe extraordinaria en medio del sufrimiento. Hoy declaro, Señor, a pesar de todos los problemas de la vida, ¡que mi Redentor vive!
My Redeemer Lives
“I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.” JOB 19:25 ESV
If you are familiar with the story of Job, you will know that God allowed him to suffer greatly; he lost his family, his health, and his wealth. We can empathize with Job as he wrestled with his understanding of God and the futility of life.
In the middle of suffering, the only thing that we may be able to hold on to is a declaration. While Job could not comprehend his suffering or God’s ways, he knew in his heart and declared with his lips, “My Redeemer lives.” Be uplifted as you dwell on that declaration. God is the one that ultimately has the final say for your life and for this earth, and you can boldly claim that he lives!
Prayer:
Lord God, thank you for the men and women who walked on this earth before us, who demonstrated astounding faith in the midst of suffering. I declare now, Lord, throughout the troubles of life, that my Redeemer lives!
