Los niños a menudo le dan vueltas a cómo debe de ser el rostro de Dios, imaginando qué aspecto tendrá y cómo sonará su voz. ¡Quiero ver a Dios! ¿Dónde está? Ay, sí, eso me pregunto yo, cariño, ¿dónde está? Dios está en la belleza, presumiendo para que lo veas. Cuando ves algo bonito, estás viendo la obra de tu papá. Cuando sujetas a un bebé recién nacido y levantas la mirada y dices, maravillada, «¡Veo a Dios!», realmente Dios está aquí.
Esta inspiración es un círculo virtuoso. Ante tantos regalos preciosos (colores vibrantes, explosiones de sabores, calidez que nos arropa, melodías que nos conmueven y belleza inimaginable), nuestro corazón no puede evitar reaccionar en consecuencia. Y nuestra inspiración se expresa mediante preciosas ofrendas de alabanza para nuestro Creador. ¡Incluso sus mandamientos, sus leyes y sus directrices son de inspiración! Sus actos de amor y sus instrucciones sinceras, que el salmista describe como rectos y radiantes, nos protegen. Y también nos acercan más a nuestro Padre y nos dan gozo y luz.

Dios, me someto en oración a tu liderazgo y a los preciosos regalos que tienes planeados para mí. Tú eres mi inspiración. ¡Te veo en la hermosura de todo lo que me rodea!
My Inspiration
The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. PSALM 19:8 NIV
Children often wonder about the face of God, imagining what he looks like and how his voice might sound. I want to see God! Where is he? Where, indeed, beloved? God is in the beauty, showing off for you. When you see something lovely, you are seeing your Daddy’s handiwork. When you hold a newborn baby, and look up and marvel, “I see God!” truly, God is there.
It’s an amazing circle, this inspiration. He gives us so many good gifts—vibrant colors, bursting flavors, comforting warmth, moving melodies, and unimaginable beauty—that our hearts cannot help but respond. And our inspirations pour out in a beautiful offering of worship back to our Creator. Even his commands, his laws, and his guidance are inspiring! Described as right and radiant, his acts of loving and devoted instructions keep us safe. They also draw us nearer to our Father and give joy and light.
Prayer:
God, I prayerfully submit to your leadership and the lovely gifts you have planned for me. You are my inspiration. I see you in the beauty all around me!
