Recuerden, el fuego del altar siempre debe estar encendido; nunca debe apagarse.
En la Biblia hay muchas mandamientos, pero hay uno que siempre se repite, la orden es: “Que el fuego nunca debe apagarse”…
Hoy en día el Espíritu Santo también es símbolo de Fuego. Si traemos esta orden a este tiempo podríamos decir que el fuego del Espíritu Santo nunca debe apagarse en nosotros.
Es el Espíritu Santo lo que nos mantiene en pie de lucha para nunca desanimarnos de seguir a Cristo y de nuestras luchas diarias.
Existe una palabra en hebreo que es “Ikabod”, y su significado es “sin Gloria o sin Presencia”.
Cuando el Fuego se apaga en nosotros, es decir cuando el Espíritu Santo se aparta de nosotros, quedamos en este estado; “sin Gloria, sin Presencia”, nos volvemos mecánicos en cuanto hacer lo que agrada a Dios, nos volvemos insignificantes, ya nada tendría sentido.
¿Qué apaga el Fuego del Espíritu Santo en nosotros?
• La amistad con el mundo, cual es enemistad contra Dios. (Santiago 4:4).
El anhelar las prácticas y tradiciones del mundo nos hace estar en el templo con el cuerpo, pero el corazón y la mente en el mundo.
• El Desánimo. (Números 42:7).
La falta de actividad hace que una persona se vuelva mediocre, es decir desanimado.
Para mantener el Fuego del Espíritu Santo encendido en nuestro corazón, nuestra oración debe ser constante; al igual que como la leña era necesaria a cada momento para que así pudiera haber fuego en el altar, así también es la oración.
1 Tesalonicenses 5:17

No apagueis al Espíritu Santo.
No apagueis al Espíritu Santo, significa ser constante en la oración, en la lectura de la palabra, y hacer todo lo que en ella está.
Oración:
Amado Espíritu Santo, te pedimos que tu llama arda en nosotros, queremos ser cada día avivados, que tu fuego nos purifique por completo, y que podamos hacer tu obra en este mundo, para que otros sean alcanzados por ese fuego que quema, pero que no destruye, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.

Remember, the fire on the altar must always be lit; it should never be turned off.
In the Bible there are many commandments, but there is one that is always repeated, the order is: “That the fire must never go out” …
Today the Holy Spirit is also a symbol of Fire. If we bring this order to this time we could say that the fire of the Holy Spirit should never be quenched in us.
It is the Holy Spirit that keeps us on the battlefield so that we are never discouraged from following Christ and from our daily struggles.
There is a word in Hebrew that is “Ikabod”, and its meaning is “without Glory or without Presence”.
When the Fire goes out in us, that is to say when the Holy Spirit departs from us, we remain in this state; “Without Glory, without Presence”, we become mechanical as soon as we do what pleases God, we become insignificant, nothing would make sense anymore.
What quenches the Fire of the Holy Spirit in us?
• Friendship with the world, which is enmity against God. (James 4: 4).
Longing for the practices and traditions of the world makes us be in the temple with the body, but the heart and mind in the world.
• Discouragement. (Numbers 42: 7).
Lack of activity makes a person mediocre, that is, discouraged.
To keep the Fire of the Holy Spirit lit in our hearts, our prayer must be constant; Just as wood was necessary at all times so that there could be fire on the altar, so is prayer.

Do not quench the Holy Spirit.
Do not quench the Holy Spirit, it means being constant in prayer, in reading the word, and doing everything that is in it.

Beloved Holy Spirit, we ask that your flame burn in us, we want to be enlivened every day, that your fire purifies us completely, and that we can do your work in this world, so that others may be reached by that fire that burns, but that Don’t destroy, in Jesus name, amen.
