¿Piensas que Dios necesita alabanza?
A lo largo de estos años, me he encontrado con muchas personas que veían la alabanza como una obligación. He escuchado o visto personas que llegan a la iglesia cuando el tiempo de alabanza ya terminó por que no les gusta alabar a Dios. En ocasiones, podemos caer en la idea de que Dios necesita nuestra alabanza, o de que incluso la demanda de nosotros. No importa cómo nos encontremos, tenemos que dársela; al punto de que en ocasiones puede convertirse en algo forzado, fabricado o incluso superficial.
Pero la verdad es que la alabanza no es un fin en sí misma: es solamente un medio para conectarnos más con Dios. De hecho, ¿sabías que Dios no está necesariamente buscando alabanza?, Él no está tan interesado en la adoración que le podamos dar, como lo está en nosotros mismos. Así lo dice este pasaje de la Biblia:
Juan 4:23
“Más la hora viene, y ahora es, cuando los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al Padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque también el Padre tales adoradores busca que le adoren”.
Dios no está buscando adoración; está buscando personas que le adoren con un corazón totalmente abierto, personas que anhelen estar con Él más que nada. Es por eso que la auténtica adoración solo puede ser en espíritu y en verdad; porque es algo profundamente espiritual, y profundamente verdadero. Nace de lo más profundo de tu corazón, y conecta con el corazón de Dios. Cuando adoras de esta forma, se crea una conexión que te hace sentir más vivo(a) que nunca.
¡Dios te está buscando en este día!
Él desea escuchar el clamor de tu corazón expresado en tus tiempos de alabanza, y, a la vez, tocar tu vida con Su amor y Su poder.
En el tiempo de ayuno estamos más sensibles a la presencia del Señor y no te sorprendas que en medio de la adoración cosas extraordinarias sucedan.
Oración:
Amado Señor, te damos Gloria a ti, y te decimos que queremos adorarte con todo el corazón, queremos ser esa generación de verdaderos adoradores que tú andas buscando, queremos estar siempre delante de ti con una alta adoración, y que seamos vivificados a través del poder de la alabanza, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
What God is looking for from you!
Do you think God needs praise?
Over the years, I have come across many people who saw praise as an obligation. I have heard or seen people who come to church when the worship time is over because they don’t like to praise God. At times, we can fall into the idea that God needs our praise, or even demands it from us. No matter how we meet, we have to give it to him; to the point that sometimes it can become something forced, manufactured or even superficial.
But the truth is, praise is not an end in itself: it is only a means to connect us more with God. In fact, did you know that God is not necessarily looking for praise? He is not as interested in the worship that we can give him, as He is in ourselves. This is what this passage of the Bible says:
John 4:23
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; because the Father also seeks such worshipers to be adored ”.
God is not looking for worship; He is looking for people who worship Him with a totally open heart, people who yearn to be with Him more than anything. That is why authentic worship can only be in spirit and in truth; because it is something deeply spiritual, and deeply true. It is born from the depths of your heart, and connects with the heart of God. When you worship in this way, a connection is created that makes you feel more alive than ever.
God is looking for you on this day!
He wants to hear the cry of your heart expressed in your times of praise, and, at the same time, touch your life with his love and his power.
In fasting times we are more sensitive to the presence of the Lord and do not be surprised that in the midst of worship extraordinary things happen.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, we give Glory to you, and we tell you that we want to adore you with all our hearts, we want to be that generation of true worshipers that you are looking for, we want to always be before you with high adoration, and that we be quickened through the Power of praise, in Jesus name, amen.
