Hay muchos días en la vida en que dejamos que lo que debería ser extremadamente especial para nosotros se vuelva demasiado promedio u ordinario.
Recuerdo hace un tiempo atrás cuando estaba orando y dije: “Señor, ¿por qué no me están sucediendo esas cosas emocionantes y especiales que solían sucederme cuando comencé a conocerte?”.
Nunca olvidaré lo que el Señor habló a mi corazón tan claramente. Me dijo: “Joyce, sigo haciendo las mismas cosas todo el tiempo; es solo que te has acostumbrado a ellas”. ¡Tremendo! Si determinamos permanecer asombrados por las cosas que Dios está haciendo en nuestras vidas, incluso las pequeñas cosas, estaremos mucho más animados y renovados en nuestro caminar con Dios. En sus momentos de quietud, tome la oportunidad para darse cuenta de lo que tiene, ser agradecido y decidir vivir maravillado de su fidelidad y bondad.
Pensamiento del día
Las bendiciones de Dios están a su alrededor. Todo lo que tiene que hacer es buscarlas y se sorprenderá de todo lo que Él ha hecho por usted.

And they were surprised [almost overwhelmed] at His teaching, because His message was [given] with authority and power and great ability.

There are many days in life when we let what should be extremely special to us become too average or ordinary.
I remember a time years ago when I was praying and said, “Lord, why don’t I have those exciting, special things happening in my life like I used to when I first started to know You?”
I’ll never forget what the Lord spoke to my heart so clearly. He said, “Joyce, I still do the same things all the time; it’s just that you’ve gotten used to them.” Wow!
If we will determine to stay amazed at the things God is doing in our lives—even the little things—we’ll be much more encouraged and refreshed in our walk with God. In your quiet times, take the opportunity to realize what you have, be thankful,
and decide to live amazed at His faithfulness and goodness.

God’s blessings are all around you. All you have to do is look for them and you will be amazed at all He has done for you.
