Queremos que las cosas se hagan rápidamente en nuestras vidas, pero Dios quiere que sean de alta calidad, así que Él se toma su tiempo para entrenarnos. No hay sensaciones de la noche a la mañana en el reino de Dios. Las cosas que Él está haciendo en su vida ahora mismo tienen un doble propósito: le están proveyendo hoy y le están preparando para el mañana.
Considere esto: El encuentro de David con el león y el oso lo prepararon para su batalla contra Goliat. José aprendió a liderar en una prisión egipcia, aprendiendo las lecciones que usaría cuando fuera promovido a ser segundo luego del faraón.
No tenga demasiada prisa. Si va demasiado rápido, se perderá de importantes lecciones que vienen a través de las aparentes pequeñas decisiones y eventos de cada nuevo día vivido en la relación con el Señor. Dios está haciendo cosas valiosas en nuestras vidas cada día, y podemos aprender a reconocerlas si confiamos en Él en el proceso.

Si Dios nos diera todo lo que pedimos de una vez, no estaríamos equipados para manejarlo. Por eso, Dios nos bendice, instruye y guía poco a poco.

The Ongoing Work of God in Your Life
I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].
(Philippians 1:6)
We want things to be done quickly in our lives, but God wants them to be of high quality, so He takes His time in training us. There are no overnight sensations in the kingdom of God. The things He is doing in your life right now have a twofold purpose: They are providing for you today, and they are preparing you for tomorrow.
Consider this: David’s encounter with the lion and the bear prepared him for his battle against Goliath. Joseph learned how to lead in an Egyptian prison, learning lessons he would use when he was promoted to be second only to Pharaoh.
Don’t be in too much of a hurry. If you go too fast, you will miss important lessons that come through the seemingly small decisions and events of each new day lived in relationship with the Lord. God is doing valuable things in our lives every day, and we can learn to recognize them if we trust Him in the process.
Today’s Thought
If God gave us everything we asked for at once, we wouldn’t be equipped to handle it. This is why God blesses, instructs, and guides us little by little.
