“(…) El Señor aceptó a Abel y a su ofrenda, pero no aceptó a Caín ni a su ofrenda…”
Génesis 4:4-5
Cada vez que luche con relación a si Dios lo ama y le acepta verdaderamente o no, dese cuenta de que es momento de volver a la cruz. Dedique un tiempo a pensar en cuán profundo es el amor del Salvador por usted que soportó tan terrible sufrimiento; cuán profundo, perdonador, sacrificado e incondicional es su cuidado divino e infalible. Aunque el Señor legítimamente pudiera haber castigado el pecado que vio en la tierra y destruido a toda la humanidad, no lo hizo. Más bien, en su gracia, decidió pagar el precio eterno por los pecados de toda persona, ya sea que reconozcamos su provisión o no.
Cristo llevó a cabo esto voluntariamente (Juan 10.17–18)… Dios en su eterno amor por nosotros, nos dio su mejor ofrenda, humillando a su propio hijo para que nosotros fuéramos libres del pecado. Nada que usted haya hecho le ganó esta dádiva de salvación, y no hay nada que pueda hacer para perderla (Efesios 2.8–9).
Ahora nosotros como retribuimos a tan grande y poderosa ofrenda de Dios.
Dios conoce nuestros corazones, Él sabia que Abel entregó la mejor ofrenda porque en su corazón anhelaba agradarle pero Cain no.
Ora y entrégale tu corazón a Dios, Él te mostrará que hay en el que no permite que le des la mejor ofrenda. Así como David le dice al Señor en:
Salmos 139:23-24
Escudríñame, oh Dios, y conoce mi corazón; pruébame y conoce mis inquietudes. Y ve si hay en mí camino malo, y guíame en el camino eterno.
El poder del Espíritu Santo obrará en ti y manifestará que es lo que hay en tu corazón y si realmente anhelas cambiar, Él te transformará.
Oración:
Amado Padre, queremos ser agradables a tus ojos y algunas veces nos esforzarnos mas en obras y apariencias y aun así hay vacío en el corazón, hoy tú nos revelas que el corazón puede engañarnos y hacernos creer que todo va bien cuando en realidad hay falta en él; ahora nos volvemos a la cruz hacia al mas precioso y poderoso sacrificio donde nos muestras tu amor puro y bello hacia nosotros, hoy nos entregamos a ti con todo nuestro corazón porque se nos a revelado que no es por obra o apariencia, si no por un corazón conforme al tuyo para darte la mejor versión nuestra y hacer tu voluntad, en el nombre de Jesús te lo pedimos, Amén.
The best offering
“(…) The Lord accepted Abel and his offering, but he did not accept Cain or his offering …”
Genesis 4: 4-5
Every time you struggle with whether or not God truly loves and accepts you, realize that it is time to return to the cross. Take some time to think about how deep the Savior’s love is for you who endured such terrible suffering. how deep, forgiving, sacrificial and unconditional is his divine and infallible care. Although the Lord could legitimately have punished the sin He saw on earth and destroyed all mankind, He did not. Rather, in his grace, he decided to pay the eternal price for everyone’s sins, whether we acknowledge his provision or not.
Christ carried out this voluntarily (John 10.17–18) … God in his eternal love for us, gave us his best offering, humbling his own son so that we would be free from sin. Nothing you have ever done earned this gift of salvation, and there is nothing you can do to lose it (Ephesians 2: 8–9).
Now we how we give back to such a great and powerful offering from God.
God knows our hearts, He knew that Abel gave the best offering because in his heart he longed to please him but Cain did not.
Pray and give your heart to God, He will show you that there is in which he does not allow you to give him the best offering. Just as David says to the Lord in:
Psalm 139: 23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my concerns. And see if there is evil in me, and guide me on the eternal path.
The power of the Holy Spirit will work in you and manifest what is in your heart and if you really want to change, He will transform you.
Prayer:
Dear Father, we want to be pleasing to your eyes and sometimes we try harder in works and appearances and even so there is emptiness in the heart, today you reveal to us that the heart can deceive us and make us believe that everything is going well when in reality there is lack in he; Now we turn to the cross towards the most precious and powerful sacrifice where you show us your pure and beautiful love towards us, today we give ourselves to you with all our hearts because it has been revealed to us that it is not by work or appearance, but by a heart according to yours to give you the best version of us and do your will, in the name of Jesus we ask, Amen.
