Cuando hemos estado caminando en el mundo, sin haber reconocido a Jesús como nuestro redentor y salvador, no nos podemos dar cuenta que estábamos caminando en la oscuridad, por que nos adaptamos a ella y no conociamos algo más.
Pero cuando llega Jesús a nuestras vidas todo se ilumina y cambia, pues todo lo que antes conocíamos, lo vemos diferente. Y finalmente vemos el lugar donde estábamos espiritualmente en nuestras vidas .
Cuando Saulo estaba en camino a Damasco, la palabra cuenta que Jesús se le apareció y tanta fue la luz que deslumbró sus ojos que quedó ciego, por que la luz que Jesús le dio, le quito la luz falsa y le dio la luz verdadera .
Otra vez Jesús les habló, diciendo: Yo soy la luz del mundo; el que me sigue, no andará en tinieblas, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida.
S. Juan 8:12
Somos tan afortunados de que Dios nos haya abiertos los ojos y los oídos para poder conocer de Él, es lo mejor que nos ha ocurrido, el haber encontrado la luz cuando hemos estado tan perdidos y confundidos.
En el Salmos 107:14 nos dice:
“Los sacó de la oscuridad y de la profunda penumbra; les rompió las cadenas.”
Eso nos habla de que solo el Padre es capaz de sacarnos de aquellos lugares y situaciones donde no vemos salida; donde pensamos que una enfermedad no tiene cura, donde hay una escasez que no tiene fin, de un vicio de donde no podemos salir; es exactamente ahí donde Jesús nos alumbra con su luz y nos lleva a caminar en otra dirección más recta, cogidos de su mano.
También nos habla de romper cadenas, hay condiciones en nuestra vida que pensamos que no tienen solución, que podremos romperla con algun esfuerzo humano; pero no sabemos que solo el Padre puede romper esas cadenas, que nos ha puesto el enemigo para hacernos quedar en el mismo lugar y llevarnos a la muerte.
Oración:
Padre, que tu luz nos abrace y nuestro caminar este contigo, rompe las cadenas y sacanos de toda oscuridad; que impide ver el verdadero camino a seguir, tú eres la esperanza en nuestras vidas y solo tú nos trae libertad, cuando parecía no haber salida, tú eres nuestra luz divina que nos guia a una eternidad gloriosa en victoria, en el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
Jesus is the Gate
I am the gate; he who will enter by me will be saved; and he will enter, and come out, and find pasture.
John 10:9
Jesus is the only entrance to salvation. He is the only one who gives us access to the heart of the Father. He gives us peace and takes away our affliction because He makes us rest, even in times of crisis.
The first time we come into the ways of the Lord, the first thing we are told to do is the prayer of faith, and in this prayer the first thing we find is the acceptance of Jesus as our “King and Savior”. This leads us to know that Jesus is the door to our Father God.
This prayer changes our lives, because when we cross the door of Jesus we create an intimate relationship with Him and so we know the Holy Spirit and this opens a channel to the Father making everything, from our thoughts to our physical circumstances, to the way we see others and the way we live, change. This is because we are being transformed to do the will of the Lord because if you do not know, His will is always good, pleasant and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
And we know that even though storms and difficulties come, only by seeing directly in the eyes of Jesus, nothing will make us sink more as opposed to the things of this world that would destroy us. He will lead us from victory to victory because that is how He has promised us. Our Father is faithful and all that he promises is fulfilled.
Prayer:
King of Glory! You are the door and the way to our Father, that is why we seek and crave more you, we want to flow in your love and so we can know the heart of our Father, fill us with your Holy Spirit and lead us to that glorious intimacy that makes us hold more of you, Great King! In the name of Jesus. Amen!
