Cuando te quedas sin tus talentos y puntos fuertes, no puedes hacer nada más que descansar en la gracia de Dios para seguir adelante. Es ahí, en tu debilidad, donde el poder de Dios se revela realmente. A nadie le gusta sentir que no está a la altura pero, si nuestra falta de capacidad puede revelar todavía más a Cristo en nosotros, siempre valdrá la pena.
Debemos recordar que somos vasijas de misericordia: imágenes sagradas de su gracia que existen para poder dar siempre gloria a Cristo en primer lugar.
Oración:
En mi debilidad, Señor, sé mi fuerza. Revélate a través de mí para poder unirme a ti y llevar a cabo tu obra.
The Irony of Weakness
The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. ISAIAH 40:28-29 NLT
When you are stripped of your talents and strengths, you can do nothing but rely on the grace of God to carry you further. It is there, in your lacking, that God’s power is truly revealed. None of us likes to feel inadequate, but if our inadequacy can further reveal Christ in us, it is always worth it.
We must remember that we are vessels of mercy—hallowed images of his grace that exist to always, first and foremost, bring glory to Christ.
Prayer:
In my weakness, Lord, be my strength. Reveal yourself through me so that I can join you in accomplishing your work.
