– Salmos 20:7-8
Éstos confían en carros, y aquéllos en caballos;
Mas nosotros del nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios tendremos memoria.
Ellos flaquean y caen,
Mas nosotros nos levantamos, y estamos en pie.
Los egipcios siempre confiaban en la fuerza de un caballo y todas su demás habilidades, pero el salmista David, siempre declaraba la confianza a Dios.
– Salmos 23:4
Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte,
No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo;
Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.
¿Cuáles son las cosas en las que confías? ¿En el dinero? ¿Tu empleo? ¿La familia? ¿Tu salud?
Todas éstas cosas fallan. Pero existe algo que nunca falla: ¡Es el amor de Dios por ti!
David también hablaba de la humillación del orgulloso…
– Salmos 106:43
Muchas veces los libró;
Mas ellos se rebelaron contra su consejo,
Y fueron humillados por su maldad.
Bájate del orgullo, bájate del chisme… porque cuando te bajes yo te voy que comenzar a usar, yo te voy a comenzar a bendecir…
Y también hablaba de la seguridad que Dios nos da, cuando confiamos en él.
– Salmos 40:2-3
Y me hizo sacar del pozo de la desesperación, del lodo cenagoso;
Puso mis pies sobre peña, y enderezó mis pasos.
Puso luego en mi boca cántico nuevo, alabanza a nuestro Dios.
Verán esto muchos, y temerán,
Y confiarán en Jehová.
Dios lo hará para que a través de ti, a través de tu testimonio otros tambien puedan confiar.
El fundamento para una vida sólida es la confianza en Jesús. Él tiene todo el poder y nunca cambia. Otras personas confían en cosas terrenales y acaban por caer, pero si confías en Dios, no serás destruido. Las dificultades vendrán, pero el fundamento de tu vida estará seguro.
Afirma tu vida en Jesús:
Entrega tu vida a Jesús creyendo que él es tu Salvador
Ora a Dios y pide su ayuda en las dificultades
Obedece los mandamientos de Dios que están en la Biblia
Para orar:
Señor Jesús, quiero poner toda mi confianza en ti. Creo que eres el único fundamento sólido para mi vida. Ayúdame a vivir para ti en obediencia a Dios, sin poner mi fe en cosas que fallan. Sé mi seguridad en las dificultades. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén!
The Confidence that does not fail!
– Psalms 20:7-8
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
The Egyptians always trusted the strength of a horse and all his other abilities, but the Psalmist David, always declared confidence to God.
– Psalms 23:4
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
What are the things you trust? In money? Your job? In family? Your health?
All these things fail. But there is one thing that never fails: It’s God’s love for you!
David also spoke of the humiliation of the proud…
– Psalms 106:43
Many times he delivered them,
but they were bent on rebellion
and they wasted away in their sin.
Stop with the pride, stop with the gossip… because when you humble yourself, I’m going to start using you, I’m going to start blessing you.
And he also spoke of the assurance that God gives us, when we trust him.
– Psalms 40:2-3
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.
God will do it so that through you, through your testimony others may also trust.
The foundation for a solid life is trust in Jesus. He has all the power and never changes. Other people trust earthly things and end up falling, but if you trust in God, you will not be destroyed. The difficulties will come, but the foundation of your life will be safe.
Affirm your life in Jesus:
Give your life to Jesus believing that he is your Savior.
Pray to God and ask for your help in difficulties.
Obey God’s commandments in the Bible.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to put all my trust in you. I think you’re the only solid foundation for my life. Help me live in obedience to God, without putting my faith in things that fail. Be my security during hardships. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
