2 Corintios 12:9
Cada vez él me dijo: «Mi gracia es todo lo que necesitas; mi poder actúa mejor en la debilidad». Así que ahora me alegra jactarme de mis debilidades, para que el poder de Cristo pueda actuar a través de mí.
Muchos caminamos muchos años sin conocer del Señor y cuando lo conocemos, meditamos en cuanto tiempo perdimos por no tenerlo a Él en nuestro corazón. Antes era fácil tomar decisiones, seguíamos solo nuestro parecer pero ahora queremos hacer la voluntad de Dios y obedecerle pero diariamente tenemos una lucha entre la carne y el Espíritu.
Nos pasa igual como lo decía el apóstol Pablo:
Romanos 7:15
Realmente no me entiendo a mí mismo, porque quiero hacer lo que es correcto pero no lo hago. En cambio, hago lo que odio.
Y si estás sientiendo que no estás en donde debería estar espiritualmente, no está solo. Creo que la mayoría de las personas se frustran fácilmente con ellas mismas cuando comparan sus comportamientos con los de Jesús o incluso con los de otros creyentes más maduros. Cuando estudiamos la Biblia o quizá cuando leemos un buen libro sobre el carácter del cristiano, el propósito de Dios es impulsarnos hacia adelante, no hacernos sentir condenados porque aún no lo hemos alcanzado. ¡Dios está obrando en usted!, y continuará haciendo su obra hasta la venida de Jesús. No hay necesidad de compararse con nadie más.
Oración:
Padre cada dia de nuestras vidas necesitamos que tu gracia esté con nosotros para poder ser fuerte en nuestras debilidades y poder estar firmes ante las tentaciones que el enemigo nos presenta, queremos agradarte a ti y hacer tu voluntad por eso llenanos de tu Santo Espíritu para encontrar libertad, en el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
Jesus glorifies himself in your weakness!
2 Corinthians 12: 9
Each time he told me, “My grace is all you need; my power works best in weakness. So now I am happy to boast of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
Many of us walk for many years without knowing the Lord and when we do, we meditate on how much time we lost by not having Him in our hearts. Before it was easy to make decisions, we followed only our opinion but now we want to do God’s will and obey him but daily we have a struggle between the flesh and the Spirit.
It happens to us the same as the apostle Paul said:
Romans 7:15
I don’t really understand myself, because I want to do what is right but I don’t. Instead, I do what I hate.
And if you are feeling that you are not where you should be spiritually, you are not alone. I think most people get easily frustrated with themselves when they compare their behaviors to Jesus’ or even more mature believers. When we study the Bible or perhaps when we read a good book on Christian character, God’s purpose is to push us forward, not to make us feel condemned because we have not yet reached it. God is working in you !, and he will continue to do his work until the coming of Jesus. There is no need to compare yourself to anyone else.
Prayer:
Father every day of our lives we need your grace to be with us to be able to be strong in our weaknesses and to be able to stand firm in the face of the temptations that the enemy presents us, we want to please you and do your will, so fill us with your Holy Spirit to find freedom, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
