Lucas 7:12-13
Cuando ya se acercaba a las puertas del pueblo, vio que sacaban de allí a un muerto, hijo único de madre viuda. La acompañaba un grupo grande de la población. Al verla, el Señor se compadeció de ella y le dijo: No llores.
Durante su ministerio terrenal Jesús visitó diversas ciudades de Judea, anunciando las buenas nuevas de salvación. Algunas veces él era bien recibido y otras veces no. Una vez, Jesús llegó a una ciudad que se encontraba de luto. Un gran cortejo fúnebre acompañaba a una mujer viuda llena de lágrimas, llorando la muerte de su único hijo. Aquella escena, llamó la atención de Jesús: en medio de aquella gran multitud estaba una mujer sola, que iba a enterrar la única familia que le quedaba.
Aquel hogar ya había sido alcanzado por el dolor y el sufrimiento con la pérdida precoz del marido y padre. La viuda, después de haberse visto sola cuidando de su hijo, volvía a sentir el dolor y el desamparo. Ahora sufría la terrible herida de ver la muerte de su hijo amado, del hijo que debía haber cuidado de ella en la vejez.
¡Pero Jesús entró en Naín y cambió la historia de aquella familia y de toda la ciudad que presenció el gran milagro, porque él es el Dios que se compadece del sufrimiento de su creación. Incluso él ordenó que se les diera a los afligidos óleo de gozo, en lugar de luto, y manto de alegría, en lugar de espirtu angustiado!
– Isaías 61:3
a ordenar que a los afligidos de Sion se les dé gloria en lugar de ceniza, óleo de gozo en lugar de luto, manto de alegría en lugar del espíritu angustiado; y serán llamados árboles de justicia, plantío de Jehová, para gloria suya.
Cristo se compadeció del dolor de la viuda e intervino en su sufrimiento. No solo la consoló sino que actuó a su favor.
Por la gracia que él da a todo el mundo.
Hoy es igual. Cristo puede entrar en tu vida y en tu familia, para transformar tu historia. ¡Solo cree en Él! Él es la resurrección y la vida. Él puede restaurar tu corazón herido y darte consuelo.
Jesús también te dice hoy: “¡No llores!”
Jesucristo no ha cambiado:
– Hebreos 13:8
«Jesucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy y por los siglos».
Él conoce tu sufrimiento y te consuela. Confía en su amor.
Ora y entrega tu dolor al Señor. Él puede dar nueva vida a tu familia, a tus sueños y a tus planes.
Depende de Dios diariamente y en medio de cualquier circunstancia. No hay un lugar mejor para estar que en las manos del Señor.
¡Jesús es tu amparo! Busca su compañía y nunca más, te sentirás solo en medio de la multitud.
Ten esperanza eterna en Jesús. Las pérdidas son terribles, pero cree, que Él enjugará todas las lágrimas de tus ojos. Junto a Cristo por la eternidad, ya no habrá más muerte, ni dolor, ni enfermedades o llanto.
Los tiempos mejores están por venir. El Señor Jesús es la fuerza que necesitas. ¡Él tiene la solución para tu sufrimiento!
Oración:
¡Señor Dios! Tú conoces mi corazón, mis temores y problemas. Nada está oculto a tus ojos. Ven y entra en mi vida, en mi familia, en mi ciudad, y transforma mi situación. Tu amor es más fuerte que el infierno y la muerte. Te pido que intervengas en mi sufrimiento y sana mi dolor, Padre. Solo tú entiendes completamente toda mi situación, Señor… Perdona mis fallas y la falta de fe en ti. Trae paz y consuelo a mi corazón. En el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Jesus Sympathizes with our Suffering
Luke 7:12-13
As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, “Don’t cry.”
During his mortal ministry Jesus visited various cities of Judea, announcing the good news of salvation. Sometimes he was well received and sometimes he was not. Once, Jesus came to a city that was in mourning. A large funeral procession accompanied a widowed woman filled with tears, mourning the death of her only child. That scene caught Jesus’ attention: in the midst of that great crowd was a woman alone, who was going to bury the only family she had left.
That home had already been attained by pain and suffering with the early loss of a husband and father. The widow, having seen herself caring for her son, felt the pain and helplessness again. Now she suffered the terrible wound of seeing the death of her beloved son, the son who should have cared for her in old age.
But Jesus entered Nain and changed the history of that family and the whole city that witnessed the great miracle, because he is the God who sympathizes with the suffering of his creation. Even he commanded that the afflicted be given oil of joy, rather than mourning, and cloak of joy, rather than anguished spirit!
– Isaiah 61:3
and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Christ took pity on the widow’s pain and intervened in her suffering. Not only did he comfort her, but he acted on her behalf.
Because of the grace he gives to everyone.
It’s the same today. Christ can enter your life and your family, to transform your story. Just believe in Him! He is the resurrection and the life. He can restore your wounded heart and give you comfort.
Jesus also says to you today, “Don’t cry!”
Jesus Christ has not changed:
– Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.
He knows your suffering and comforts you. Trust his love.
Pray and give your pain to the Lord. He can give new life to your family, your dreams, and your plans.
It depends on God daily and in the midst of any circumstance. There is no better place to be than in the hands of the Lord.
Jesus is your protection! Look for his company and never again, you’ll feel alone in the middle of the crowd.
Have eternal hope in Jesus. The losses are terrible, but believe that He will wipe away all the tears in your eyes. Together with Christ for eternity, there will be no more death, no pain, no disease, no more crying.
The best times are coming. The Lord Jesus is the strength you need. He has the solution to your suffering!
Prayer:
Lord God! You know my heart, my fears and problems. Nothing is hidden from your eyes. Come and enter my life, my family, my city, and transform my situation. Your love is stronger than hell and death. I ask you to intervene in my suffering and heal my pain, Father. Only you fully understand my whole situation, Lord. Forgive my faults and lack of faith in you. Bring peace and comfort to my heart. In the name of Jesus, amen.
