Lucas 6:48
Es como una persona que, para construir una casa, cava hondo y echa los cimientos sobre roca sólida. Cuando suben las aguas de la inundación y golpean contra esa casa, ésta queda intacta porque está bien construida.
Esta parábola representa la vida; en la que cavar hondo y echar los cimientos son tus decisiones, tus esfuerzos, lo que tú haces cada día para prosperar y cumplir lo que te has propuesto.
Las aguas que causan las inundaciones son las circunstancias adversas como problemas, enfermedad, divorcio, o cualquier otra clase de situación en la que no quisieras estar envuelto.
¡La roca sólida es Jesús!.
Ten en cuenta siempre que vivimos en un mundo caído y nuestra naturaleza es pecaminosa, lo que esto quiere decir que tu vida sin Jesús no tiene sentido por más que tengas todo lo que una persona quisiera tener, sin Él tendrás un vacío en ti que solo Él puede llenar.
Ni el dinero o el poder, ni la fama o una relación podrá llenar el lugar que le corresponde a Jesús.
Por eso toma un tiempo para Jesús y no solo que leas y escucha Su palabra sino que con un corazón humilde permitas que la palabra de Dios penetre en ti y aplicala.
Isaías 66:2
Con mis manos hice tanto el cielo como la tierra; son míos, con todo lo que hay en ellos. ¡Yo, el Señor, he hablado! »Bendeciré a los que tienen un corazón humilde y arrepentido, a los que tiemblan ante mi palabra.
Recuerda algo el miedo te paraliza pero el temor a Dios te bendice.
El Apóstol Pablo también nos dice en:
2 Corintios 4:17
Pues nuestras dificultades actuales son pequeñas y no durarán mucho tiempo. Sin embargo, ¡nos producen una gloria que durará para siempre y que es de mucho más peso que las dificultades!
Puede ser que falles una y otra vez pero si tienes un tiempo cada día aunque sea unos minutos en tu diario vivir para Jesús y aprendes de Él; no importa las dificultades que se te presenten nada te moverá o destruirá.
Porque tu futuro está asegurado en Jesús la Roca de tu salvación.
Oración:
Señor Jesús, tu palabra dice que solamente tú eres nuestra roca y nuestra salvación; eres nuestro refugio, por lo tanto no resbalaremos, gracias porque nos has dado la promesa, de que por más grandes que sean las tormentas que nos golpeen, en ti estaremos seguro, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
Jesus our Rock!
Luke 6:48
It is like a person who, to build a house, digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and hit that house, it remains intact because it is well built.
This parable represents life; in which digging deep and laying the foundations are your decisions, your efforts, what you do every day to prosper and fulfill what you have proposed.
The waters that cause the floods are adverse circumstances such as problems, illness, divorce, or any other kind of situation in which you do not want to be involved.
The solid rock is Jesus!
Always keep in mind that we live in a fallen world and our nature is sinful, which means that your life without Jesus has no meaning, even if you have everything a person would like to have, without Him you will have an emptiness in you that only He can fill.
Neither money or power, not fame or a relationship can fill Jesus’ rightful place.
That is why you must make time for Jesus and not only that you read and listen to his word but with a humble heart you allow the word of God to penetrate you and apply it.
Isaiah 66: 2
With my hands I made both heaven and earth; They are mine, with everything in them. I, the Lord, have spoken! I will bless those who have a humble and repentant heart, those who tremble at my word.
Remember something fear paralyzes you but fear of God blesses you.
The Apostle Paul also tells us in:
2 Corinthians 4:17
For our current difficulties are small and will not last long. Yet they bring us glory that will last forever and that outweighs hardships!
It may be that you fail again and again but if you have time every day even a few minutes in your daily living for Jesus and you learn from Him; no matter the difficulties that come your way, nothing will move you or destroy you.
Because your future is assured in Jesus the Rock of your salvation.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, your word says that you alone are our rock and our salvation; you are our refuge, therefore we will not slip, thank you for you have given us the promise that no matter how great the storms that hit us are, in you we will be safe, in the name of Jesus, amen.
