Probablemente es más fácil comprender el poder de los reinos si tenemos presente que, antaño, la monarquía era quien tenía el gobierno absoluto. Pero hoy en día puede que sea más fácil identificar el poder y la autoridad con la política, los líderes mundiales y la ley. Como bien sabemos, no hay muchos sistemas políticos, líderes o incluso leyes sociales que hayan resistido el paso del tiempo. Un líder sustituye a otro líder, llegan nuevas estructuras gubernamentales y las leyes cambian al ritmo de la sociedad.
¡Vivimos en un mundo muy inestable! No es de extrañar que una gran mayoría de nosotros se sienta ansiosa por el futuro. Pero esta no tiene que ser nuestra perspectiva. ¡La Biblia dice que vamos a recibir un reino inconmovible! Esto significa que nuestro Dios reinará con justicia, misericordia y paz. Puedes sentirte agradecida: tienes un futuro brillante por delante. La buena noticia es que él ya ha empezado su obra. Podemos alabarle como nuestro Rey incluso hoy mismo.

Amado Señor, te venero como Dios soberano de este mundo y también de mi corazón. Te alabo porque tú eres maravilloso. Un día completarás tus planes magníficos. Ayúdame a vivir con la esperanza de tu reino inconmovible.
Unshakable
Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. HEBREWS 12:28 NIV
It is probably easier to understand the power of kingdoms back in the day when monarchy reigned supreme. These days, it might be easier to recognize power and authority in our politics, world leaders, and law. As we well know, not many political systems, leaders, or even societal law stand the test of time. Leaders are replaced, a new governance structure is set up, and laws change as society does.
We live in a very unsettled world! It’s little wonder that a good majority of us are anxious about the future. This doesn’t need to be our outlook.
The Bible says that we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken! This means that our God will reign with justice, mercy, and peace. You can be thankful because you have a bright future ahead of you. The good news is that he has already begun his work. We can worship him as our King, even today.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I revere you as the sovereign Lord of this world and also of my heart. I worship you because you are awesome. You will one day bring your magnificent plans to completion. Help me to live with the hope of your kingdom that cannot be shaken.
