Muchos aspectos pueden impedirnos aceptar la voluntad de Dios, pero quiero resaltar aquí dos que son muy comunes:
▪︎Poner nuestro enfoque en las cosas de este mundo, y no en Jesús. Nos apegamos tanto a los asuntos mundanos de posición e identidad que perdemos la visión más global de lo que Cristo desea lograr por medio de nosotros. Y cuando Dios no nos otorga lo que erróneamente creemos que nos da valor, nos desanimamos y somos tentados a pecar (Santiago 1:15). Esto siempre es desastroso.
▪︎Tomar un atajo alrededor de la ruta planeada por Dios. Nos cansamos de esperar al Señor e incluso corremos por delante de Él o nos vamos en otra dirección. Sin embargo, recordemos que respetar el tiempo de hacer las cosas es esencial para Dios. Él no cambiará de opinión respecto al plan que tiene para nosotros porque ha preparado entrenamiento y bendiciones que desea hacernos disfrutar. Si en este día usted siente la tentación de dudar del plan o el calendario de Dios, deténgase y pídale que le hable a su corazón y lo anime mientras espera. Él anhela que finalice el curso que le ha marcado y obtenga la victoria. Así que disponga su corazón en obedecerle y honrarlo, porque esa es la senda sin obstáculos hacia una vida en su máxima expresión.
Oración:
Jesús, habla a mi corazón. Pongo la mirada en ti y espero, confiando en tu plan y programación. Amén.
IMPEDIMENTS
Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. PSALM 33:20
Many things can impede us from embracing God’s will, but I want to tell you about two very common ones.
Setting our focus on the things of this world rather than Jesus. We become so attached to worldly issues of status and identity that we lose the bigger picture of what Christ wants to accomplish through us. Then, when God doesn’t give us what we erroneously think gives us worth, we become discouraged and are tempted to sin (James 1:15). This is always disastrous.
Taking a shortcut around God’s planned route. We get tired of waiting for the Lord and either rush ahead of Him or go in another direction altogether. But remember, timing is everything to God. He will not change His mind about His plan for you, because He has training and blessings that He wants you to enjoy.
Today, if you are tempted to doubt God’s plan or timetable, stop and ask Him to speak to your heart and encourage you as you wait. The Lord wants you to finish the course that He’s set before you and be victorious in this life. So set your heart on obeying and honoring Him, because that is the unimpeded path to life at its best.
Prayer:
Jesus, speak to my heart. I set my eyes on You and wait, trusting Your plan and timing. Amen.
