Mujer, eres libre de tu enfermedad. —LUCAS 13:12
¡Jesucristo es la Palabra de Dios, y la Palabra es la misma ayer, hoy y por los siglos de los siglos (ver Heb. 13:8)! Es decir, ¡la palabra que estás escuchando hoy es capaz de sanar tu ayer! Jesús dijo: “Mujer, eres libre”. No la llamó por su nombre. Él no le estaba hablando a ella solo como una persona. Le habló a su feminidad. Le habló a la canción en ella. Le habló al encaje en ella. Como a una rosa que se desmorona, Jesús habló de lo que ella podría haber sido y lo que habría sido. Creo que el Señor le habló al brillo que había en sus ojos cuando era niña; al brillo juvenil que el maquillaje nunca parece recuperar. Él le habló a su singularidad dada por Dios. Habló de su género. Su problema no comenzó de repente. Había existido en su vida durante 18 años. Estamos viendo a una mujer que tenía una guerra personal dentro de ella. Estas luchas deben haber contaminado muchas otras áreas de su vida. La enfermedad que atacó su vida fue física. Sin embargo, muchas mujeres también luchan con enfermedades en traumas emocionales. Estas enfermedades pueden ser tan desafiantes como una aflicción física.
TU VIAJE DE SANACIÓN
Invita al Espíritu Santo a que venga y te ayude a identificar tu enfermedad, las áreas específicas en las que Dios quiere traer sanidad a tu vida. Permítale que le hable directa e íntimamente. Él siempre viene con amor, compasión y esperanza. Confía en Su proceso. Luego, pídele a Dios que comience a darte pasajes de las Escrituras para apoyarte como promesas de sanidad. Él no quiere dejarte simplemente reconociendo tu enfermedad; Él quiere darte la esperanza de Su Palabra de que hay un futuro más allá de tu pasado.
IDENTIFY YOUR INFIRMITY
Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. —LUKE 13:12
Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and the Word is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore (see Heb. 13:8)! That is to say, the word you are hearing today is able to heal your yesterday!
Jesus said, “Woman, thou art loosed.”
He did not call her by name.
He wasn’t speaking to her just as a person.
He spoke to her femininity.
He spoke to the song in her.
He spoke to the lace in her.
As if to a crumbling rose, Jesus spoke to what she could, and would, have been. I believe the Lord spoke to the twinkle that existed in her eye when she was a child; to the girlish glow that makeup can never seem to recapture. He spoke to her God-given uniqueness. He spoke to her gender.
Her problem didn’t begin suddenly. It had existed in her life for 18 years. We are looking at a woman who had a personal war going on inside her. These struggles must have tainted many other areas of her life. The infirmity that attacked her life was physical. However, many women also wrestle with infirmities in emotional traumas. These infirmities can be just as challenging as a physical affliction.
YOUR HEALING JOURNEY
Invite the Holy Spirit to come and help you identify your infirmity—the specific areas where God wants to bring healing into your life. Allow Him to speak directly and intimately to you. He always comes with love, compassion, and hope. Trust His process.
Then, ask God to start giving you passages from Scripture to stand on as promises for healing. He doesn’t want to leave you simply recognizing your infirmity; He wants to give you hope from His Word that there is a future beyond your past.
