«Quiten la piedra», dijo Jesús.

Lázaro llevaba cuatro días en la tumba cuando Jesús dio la extraña orden de que quitaran la piedra que bloqueaba la entrada a su sepulcro. Era mucho trabajo, ¿y para qué? Sin embargo, Jesús les aseguró que si creían, verían la gloria de Dios en su situación.
Imagínate que María y Marta se hubieran negado. Habrían sufrido en vano y se habrían perdido un milagro asombroso. Quizás pienses: Ellas nunca habrían negado a Jesús. Pero ¿cuántas veces sufrimos y dejamos a Dios afuera, negándonos a mover los obstáculos que bloquean el camino hacia nuestras heridas más profundas? No vemos nada bueno en nuestras situaciones e incluso creemos que Dios nos ha abandonado. Así que cuando Él viene y nos dice lo que tenemos que hacer para ver su gloria, lo rechazamos y preguntamos: «¿Para qué?».
Amigo, quita la piedra. Es probable que las cosas no te parezcan lógicas. Puede que te sientas herido. Puede que pienses: Si hago lo que Él me pide, será desagradable. Pero no rechaces nada de lo que el Señor te indique que hagas. Cuando Marta obedeció, Lázaro salió vivo de la tumba. Y cuando hagas lo que Dios te diga, lo que surja traerá alegría a tu alma y te ayudará a ver cómo todo es posible con
Oración:
Jesús. Jesús, te creo. Ayúdame a obedecerte aunque parezca insensato. Amén.
Just Do It
Jesus said, “Remove the stone.”

Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days when Jesus gave the strange command to remove the stone that blocked the entrance to his grave. It was a lot of work—and for what? Yet Jesus assured them that if they believed, they would see God’s glory in their situation.
Just imagine if Mary and Martha had refused. They would have suffered for nothing and missed an astounding miracle. You may think, They would never have denied Jesus. But how often do we suffer and then shut God out, refusing to move the obstacles that block the way to our deepest hurts? We see no immediate good in our situations and may even believe God has abandoned us. So when He comes and tells us what to do to see His glory, we refuse Him and ask, “What’s the use?”
Friend, remove the stone. Things may not make sense to you. You may be hurt. You may think, If I do what He asks, it will stink. But do not decline anything the Lord shows you to do. When Martha obeyed, Lazarus emerged alive from the tomb. And when you do as God says, what comes forth will bring joy to your soul and help you see how anything is possible with Jesus.
Prayer:
Jesus, I believe You. Help me obey You when it doesn’t make sense. Amen.
