El gozo que viene con la presencia del Señor es un gozo que no nos puede ser arrebatado. Cuando recordamos lo que Cristo ha hecho por nosotros, si pensamos en cómo su gracia ha cambiado el rumbo eterno de nuestras vidas, no podemos evitar sentirnos repletos de una alegría irreprimible.
Puede que nos cueste tener presente el gozo de nuestra salvación en aquellos momentos difíciles en los que nuestras vidas se complican. Pero llegará el día en el que Jesús volverá a esta tierra, lo enderezará todo y podremos experimentar un gozo completo.
Oración:
Gracias, Jesús, por el gozo de mi salvación. Gracias porque, en tu presencia, nadie puede quitarme la alegría. Espero con ansia el día en el que te veré cara a cara y mi gozo será completo.
Full Joy
“So you have pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.” JOHN 16:22 NRSV
The joy that comes with the presence of the Lord is a joy that cannot be taken away. When we remember what Christ has done for us, and think about how his grace has changed the eternal course of our lives, we cannot help but be filled with an irrepressible joy.
We may struggle on difficult days, when our lives get hard, to keep sight of the joy of our salvation. But a day is coming when Jesus will return to this earth—setting all things right—and on that day, we will experience our joy in full. Thank you, Jesus, for the joy of my salvation.
Prayer:
Thank you that, in your presence, my joy cannot be taken away from me. I look forward to the day when I will see you face to face, in fullness of joy.
