Yo a la verdad os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento; pero el que viene tras mí, cuyo calzado yo no soy digno de llevar, es más poderoso que yo; él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y fuego.
Mateo 3:11
Jesús fue cien por ciento hombre y cien por ciento Dios y era el Espíritu Santo que moraba en Él, que impartió a nosotros, así lo dice en Juan 16:7
Pero yo os digo la verdad: Os conviene que yo me vaya; porque si no me fuera, el Consolador no vendría a vosotros; más si me fuere, os lo enviaré.
Jesús en su humanidad no podía estar en todo lugar, solo a través del Espíritu Santo que moraba en El, podrían los apóstoles y la iglesia primitiva proclamar el evangelio y cumplir su propósito, de la misma manera a nosotros, en nuestro tiempo, su presencia, su fuego nos lleva a la convicción del pecado, pero también a la realidad del perdón a través de Jesús, nos empodera, capacita, fortalece y nos da la dirección en el cumplimiento de nuestro propósito de vida.
El fuego del Espíritu Santo nos alinea a cumplir la voluntad de Dios, pero Él está buscando personas con corazones hambrientos y sedientos por su presencia, no está buscando a los fuertes e intelectuales.
Solo en el fuego de su presencia podremos continuar caminando en sus planes maravillosos que tiene para nosotros y así mantenernos en su dirección divina.
En 2 Timoteo 1:6-7, nos dice:
Por lo cual te aconsejo que avives el fuego del don de Dios que está en ti por la imposición de mis manos. Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de cobardía, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio.
La clave es en una continua intimidad en oración con El Espíritu Santo y en esos tiempos con él, recibiremos del Amor, la valentía y el dominio propio para cuidar, no desviarnos, si no estar enfocados, alertas y vigilantes que lo que se nos ha dado por gracia, su hermosa presencia, en fuego 🔥 y no se apagara, si no que ira en aumento y otros también lo anhelaran recibir.
Oración:
Gracias Señor por tu fuego que va en aumento en nuestro corazón, ayúdanos a mantenernos firmes y a ser sensibles de tu voz, tu dirección; anhelamos que crezca y que otros anhelen lo que tu nos ha dado. En el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amen!
Fire that burns but does not consume.
I indeed baptize you in water for repentance; but he who comes after me, whose footwear I am not worthy to wear, he is mightier than I; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Matthew 3:11
Jesus was one hundred percent man and one hundred percent God and it was the Holy Spirit that dwelt in Him, who He imparted to us, as it says in John 16: 7
But I tell you the truth: It is convenient for you that I go away; because if I did not leave, the Comforter would not come to you; but if he leaves me, I will send him to you.
Jesus in his humanity could not be everywhere, only through the Holy Spirit who dwelt in him, could the apostles and the early church proclaim the gospel and fulfill its purpose, in the same way to us, in our time, its presence, his fire leads us to the conviction of sin but also to the reality of forgiveness through Jesus, empowers us, enables us, strengthens and gives us direction in the fulfillment of our life purpose.
The fire of the Holy Spirit aligns us to fulfill God’s will but He is looking for people with hungry and thirsty hearts for His presence, He is not looking for the strong and intellectual.
Only in the fire of his presence can we continue to walk in his wonderful plans that he has for us and thus keep us in his divine direction.
In 2 Timothy 1: 6-7, he tells us:
For this reason, I advise you to fan the fire of the gift of God that is in you by the imposition of my hands. Because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love and self-control.
The key is in a continuous intimacy in prayer with the Holy Spirit and in those times with him, we will receive from Love, courage and self-control to care, not deviate, if not to be focused, alert and vigilant than what has been given to us. given by grace, his beautiful presence, on fire 🔥 and it will not be quenched, but it will increase and others will also yearn to receive it.
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for your fire that is increasing in our hearts, help us to remain firm and to more sensitive to your voice, your direction; We long for you so we can grow and for others to yearn for what you have given us. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
