Mardoqueo estaba llorando en la puerta del Rey cuando las doncellas de la reina Ester lo vieron e informaron de su comportamiento. Ester se sorprendió y envió a su mensajero para averiguar el problema. Mardoqueo le contó todo lo que Amán planeaba para los judíos. Ester sabía que estaba prohibido visitar al rey sin una invitación. Sin embargo, ayunó con sus doncellas y con todos los judíos de Susa. Sin saber qué sucedería, dijo: “Si muero, muero”, ¡una notable demostración de valor y autosacrificio!
ESTHER TENÍA UN PROPÓSITO, ESTABA CONSCIENTE DE ESTE PROPÓSITO Y SE COMPORTÓ DE ACUERDO CON SU PROPÓSITO!
“¿Y quién sabe si ha llegado a su posición real en un momento como este?” Ella no estaba allí solo para ser una reina “bonita”. ¡Dios la colocó en esa posición en el tiempo señalado!
¡ESTER CONSULTÓ A DIOS ANTES DE CUALQUIER ACCIÓN!
Aunque Dios no se menciona explícitamente en el Libro de Ester, ¡Su presencia estaba allí! ¡Ester sabía que debía consultar a su Padre con el ayuno! Entonces, además de su autosacrificio, ¡también se negó en su carne para que Dios la usara por completo! Me imagino que su oración fue: “MENOS DE MÍ SEÑOR Y MÁS DE TI”.
¡Ester tenía personas temerosas de Dios a su alrededor que se unieron en sus súplicas a Dios! ¿De quién te rodeas? ¿Tus amigos orarían o ayunarían de buena gana contigo?
ESTER NO FUE “IRREEMPLAZABLE”
Mardoqueo dijo algo bastante profundo en el versículo 14: “Porque si callas en este momento, el alivio y la liberación de los judíos surgirán de otro”. Mardoqueo estaba seguro de que Dios liberaría a los judíos, ¡con o sin Ester!
A veces, el orgullo nos hace pensar demasiado en nosotros mismos en relación con Dios. Recuerde que Dios hará el trabajo con o sin nosotros, pero debemos desear ser usados como sus vasos, no porque lo beneficie a Él, ¡sino porque nos beneficia a nosotros! Especialmente cuando se trata de adoración y oración; Dios sigue siendo Dios sin nuestra adoración, no depende de él e incluso las piedras se levantarán para adorar a Dios si no lo hacemos. La adoración es para nosotros tener intimidad con Dios, entrar en su presencia, conectarnos con él y recibir esas bendiciones espirituales.
Dios puede usar a cualquiera, ¡agradece que haya elegido usarte a ti!
Después de tres días de oración y ayuno, Ester fue donde el rey Asuero, quien la recibió con su cetro de oro. El Rey le ofreció a Esther la mitad de su reino sin que ella siquiera lo pidiera, sin necesidad de prenupciales de ese entonces.
Ester invitó al rey a su banquete y solicitó que Amán estuviera presente, por lo que el rey envió a buscar a Amán, que estaba emocionado por la invitación de la reina. En el banquete, el rey Asuero insistió en saber cuál era la petición de Ester, ella dijo que se lo diría en la cena del día siguiente con Amán como invitado especial. Amán todavía estaba muy animado por el banquete, pero en el camino para jactarse ante su esposa y amigos, vio a Mardoqueo llorando a las puertas del Rey y Mardoqueo todavía se rehusaba a inclinarse ante Él. Esto molestó a Amán, por lo que su esposa y amigos sugirieron que colgaran a Mardoqueo en una horca de 75 pies de altura.
SEA ASTUTO Y NO SE APRESURE
Ester todavía era la favorita. ¡Mire cómo el Rey estaba listo para darle la mitad de su reino y ella no tuvo que decir nada (Versículo 3)!
Habló con respeto a un hombre que merecía muy poco respeto. “Si le place al rey”, respondió Ester (versículo 4).
Ester tuvo tacto; ella no apresuró las cosas. Ester podría haber hecho su pedido en ese mismo momento, pero supongo que no quería apresurarse. Ella actuó con sutileza y probablemente quería evaluar las actitudes de ambos hombres antes de presentar su solicitud. A menudo, nos apresuramos a hacer cosas, ¡pero no hay nada de malo en tomarse el tiempo!
En una nota práctica, podemos aprender del hecho de que Ester organizó un banquete. Todos hemos oído hablar del famoso dicho que dice: “La comida es el camino al corazón de un hombre”. Esther nos muestra que es mejor tener algunas discusiones serias y sinceras durante una buena comida.
Esa noche, mientras el rey y Amán nuevamente estaban bebiendo vino en el banquete de la reina, el rey le imploró a Ester que le pidiera cualquier cosa que quisiera en su corazón. Esta vez ella dijo lo que tenía en mente: —Si me he ganado el favor de Su Majestad, y si le parece bien, mi deseo es que me conceda la vida. Mi petición es que se compadezca de mi pueblo. Porque a mí y a mi pueblo se nos ha vendido para exterminio, muerte y aniquilación. —¿Y quién es ese que se ha atrevido a concebir semejante barbaridad? —preguntó el rey. —¡El adversario y enemigo es este miserable de Amán! Así que la estrella de Amán, que se había elevado a tan gran altura, cayó de repente, como un rayo que se precipita del cielo. Fue colgado en la misma horca que había construido para el judío Mardoqueo, y todas sus propiedades le fueron entregadas a Ester. Además, el rey, a causa de que no podía revocar su propio edicto, emitió otro para contrarrestar el primero. Les concedía a los judíos de todo el imperio el derecho de protegerse, de destruir y de saquear a los enemigos que levantaran la mano en contra de ellos el 7 de marzo.
NUESTRO REY SIEMPRE NOS PROTEGERÁ A Dios no le importan nuestros antecedentes; Quiere lo mejor para los que lo aman. Él nos protegerá y nunca nos dejará, tal como lo hizo el Rey con Ester. Califiqué al rey Asuero en este capítulo porque tuvo que tomar una decisión difícil. Amán estaba muy cerca de Él, eran amigos y probablemente lo tenía en gran estima. Sin embargo, a la hora de tomar una decisión que beneficiaría a su amigo o su esposa. El eligió a su ESPOSA. Para las solteras: Oren por un esposo que las ponga a usted primero por encima de las opiniones de sus amigos.
¡COSECHAS LO QUE SIEMBRAS! Cualquier cosa que intentes usar para lastimar a otro, a menudo se volverá para lastimarte. Si estás sembrando maldad, tratando de humillar a alguien, ¡se volverá un boomerang y volverá a ti! Dios no le guiñará el ojo. Basta con mirar a Amán. “El que cava un hoyo, caerá en él; si alguien hace rodar una piedra, le rodará hacia atrás “(Proverbios 26:27). Entonces, podemos ver el peligro de intentar tender una trampa para que otro caiga. Si lo hacemos, eventualmente caeremos en la trampa nosotros mismos. Si te sientes vengativo; ora y déjalo en manos de Dios, tal como lo hizo Ester.
EL ORGULLO Y LA DESTRUCCIÓN SON BUENOS AMIGOS ¡Puedes ser humilde o ser humillado! “El orgullo precede a la destrucción, un espíritu altivo antes de la caída” (Proverbios 16:18). Hasta ahora hemos visto cómo la naturaleza orgullosa de Amán lo llevó a establecer su propia muerte. El orgullo puede ser un pecado tan sutil para nosotros; tenemos que mantenernos bajo control. ¡Ora siempre, “menos de mí y más de ti Señor”!
LEALTAD
Mardoqueo pasó de la pobreza a la riqueza debido a su lealtad a Dios y al Rey. Esta misma lealtad hizo que los hombres del Rey apoyaran a los judíos en la batalla. Aprendamos de Mardoqueo; ser fiel a Dios a pesar de todo, especialmente en tiempos en los que es más fácil conformarse e incómodo ser diferente. Sea esa luz en la oscuridad. Ester fue elegida para ser reina y resucitada por el Señor con el propósito de liberar a su pueblo en tiempos de crisis. Tu propósito siempre estará relacionado con la necesidad de alguien … ¡abrázalo!
Oración:
Gracias Señor, porque en este tiempo de ayuno y búsqueda de tu presencia me das la astucia y tacto para actuar en cada situación sabiamente, sobre todo mi anhelo esta de que nada íntervenga en el fluir del poder de tu Santo Espíritu, mi deseo es que tus planes se establezcan en mi y abraze mi llamado. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén!
Esther – Second Part –
Mordecai was crying at the King’s gate when Queen Esther’s maidens saw him and reported his behavior. Esther was shocked and sent her messenger to find out the problem. Mordecai told him everything Haman planned for the Jews. Esther knew it was forbidden to visit the king without an invitation. However, she fasted with her maidens and with all the Jews of Susa. Not knowing what would happen, she said, “If I die, I die” – a remarkable display of courage and self-sacrifice!
ESTHER HAD A PURPOSE, WAS AWARE OF THIS PURPOSE AND BEHAVED ACCORDING TO HER PURPOSE!
“And who knows if they have come to their actual position at a time like this?” She wasn’t there just to be a “pretty” queen. God placed her in that position at the appointed time!
ESTHER CONSULTED GOD BEFORE ANY ACTION!
Although God is not explicitly mentioned in the Book of Esther, His presence from her was there! Esther she knew that she should consult her Father with fasting! So, in addition to her self-sacrifice, she also denied herself in her flesh for God to use her completely! I imagine her prayer was: “LESS OF ME LORD AND MORE OF YOU.”
Esther had God-fearing people around her who joined in her supplication to God! Who do you surround yourself with? Would your friends willingly pray or fast with you?
ESTHER WAS NOT “IRREPLACEABLE”
Mordecai said something quite profound in verse 14: “For if you keep quiet right now, relief and liberation for the Jews will come from another.” Mordecai was sure that God would deliver the Jews, with or without Esther!
Sometimes pride makes us think too much of ourselves in relation to God. Remember that God will do the work with or without us, but we must want to be used as His vessels, not because it benefits Him, but because it benefits us! Especially when it comes to worship and prayer; God is still God without our worship, it does not depend on him and even the stones will rise to worship God if we do not. Worship is for us to be intimate with God, enter his presence, connect with him, and receive those spiritual blessings.
God can use anyone, be thankful He chose to use you!
After three days of prayer and fasting, Esther went to King Ahasuerus, who received her with her golden scepter. The King offered Esther half of her kingdom without her even asking for it, without the need for prenuptials at the time.
Esther invited the king to his banquet and requested that Haman be present, so the king sent for Haman, who was excited by the queen’s invitation. At the banquet, King Ahasuerus insisted on knowing what Esther’s request was, she said she would tell him at dinner the next day with Haman as a special guest. Haman was still in high spirits about the banquet, but on the way to brag to his wife and friends, he saw Mordecai crying at the King’s gates and Mordecai still refused to bow down to him. This upset Haman, causing his wife and friends suggested that Mordecai be hung from a 75 foot high gallows.
BE SMART AND DON’T HURRY
Esther was still the favorite. Look at how the King was ready to give her half of the kingdom and she didn’t have to say anything (verse 3)!
She spoke respectfully to a man who deserved very little respect. “If it pleases the king,” Esther replied (verse 4).
Esther was tactful; she didn’t rush things. Ester could have made the request for her right then and there, but I guess she didn’t want to rush. She was subtle and probably wanted to assess the attitudes of both men before applying for her. Often times, we rush to get things done, but there is nothing wrong with taking the time!
On a practical note, we can learn from the fact that Esther hosted a banquet. We have all heard of the famous saying that “Food is the way to a man’s heart.” Esther shows us that it is best to have some serious and honest discussions over a good meal.
That night, as the king and Haman were again drinking wine at the queen’s banquet, the king implored Esther to ask him for whatever she wanted in her heart. This time she said what she had in mind: “If I have won the favor of the Majesty from him, and if it is okay with him, my wish is that he grants me life.” My request is that you feel sorry for my people. Because me and my people have been sold for extermination, death and annihilation. “And who is this that has dared to conceive such atrocity?” Asked the king. “The adversary and enemy is this miserable Haman!” So the star of Haman, which had risen so high, suddenly fell, like lightning rushing from the sky. He was hung on the same gallows that he had built for the Jew Mordecai, and all of his property was given to Esther. Furthermore, the king, to Because he could not revoke his own edict, he issued another to counter the first. He granted Jews throughout the empire the right to protect themselves, destroy and plunder enemies who raised their hands against them on March 7.
OUR KING WILL ALWAYS PROTECT US God does not care about our background; He wants the best for those who love him. He will protect us and never leave us, just as the King did with Esther. I rated King Ahasuerus in this chapter because he had to make a difficult decision. Haman was very close to him, they were friends, and he probably held him in high esteem. However, when it comes to making a decision that would benefit your friend or his wife. He chose his WIFE. For single women: Pray for a husband who puts you first above the opinions of his friends.
YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW! Anything you try to use to hurt another will often come back to hurt you. If you are sowing evil, trying to humiliate someone, it will become a boomerang and it will come back to you! God will not wink at you. Just look at Haman. “He who digs a hole will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll backward” (Proverbs 26:27). So we can see the danger of trying to set a trap for someone else to fall. If we do, we will eventually fall into the trap ourselves. If you feel vindictive; pray and leave it in God’s hands, just like Esther did.
PRIDE AND DESTRUCTION ARE GOOD FRIENDS. You can be humble or be humiliated! “Pride precedes destruction, a haughty spirit before the fall” (Proverbs 16:18). So far we have seen how Haman’s proud nature led him to establish his own death. Pride can be such a subtle sin for us; we have to keep ourselves under control. Always pray, “less of me and more of you Lord”!
LOYALTY
Mordecai went from poverty to wealth because of his loyalty to God and the King. This same loyalty led the King’s men to support the Jews in battle. Let’s learn from Mordecai; be faithful to God in spite of everything, especially in times when it is easier to settle and uncomfortable to be different. Be that light in the dark. Esther was chosen to be queen and resurrected by the Lord for the purpose of freeing the people from her in times of crisis. Your purpose will always be related to someone’s need … embrace it!

Thank you Lord, because in this time of fasting and searching for your presence you give me the cunning and tact to act wisely in each situation, above all my desire is that nothing intervenes in the flow of the power of your Holy Spirit, my wish is that your plans are established in me and embrace my call.
