El que anda en justicia y habla lo recto. . . el que tapa sus oídos para no oír derramamiento de sangre y cierra sus ojos para no mirar el mal, en las alturas habitará; su lugar de defensa serán las fortalezas de peñascos; su pan le será dado; su agua será segura. —ISAIAS 33:15–16
Es esencial que estés extremadamente atento a lo que entra en tu mente todos los días. Lo que escuchas afecta tu forma de pensar y lo que crees. Si desea tener pensamientos que afirmen la vida, pensamientos de éxito y prosperidad, entonces llene sus oídos con palabras que producirán estas cosas en su vida. Eventualmente, si escuchas algo lo suficiente, con el tiempo se formará una creencia, y esa creencia producirá una acción correspondiente. Es este oír, y volver a oír, el ímpetu de la fe.
Oración:
La fe viene por el oír y el oír por la Palabra de Dios. Abre mis oídos hoy para escuchar Tu verdad. Mi fe no descansa en la sabiduría de los hombres sino en Tu poder (1 Corintios 2:5). No me importan las cosas de la carne sino las cosas del Espíritu. Porque camino según el Espíritu y no según la carne, doy el fruto del Espíritu: amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, mansedumbre, bondad, mansedumbre, templanza y fe. No me dejaré mover por las circunstancias. Camino por fe y no por vista. En el nombre de Jesús, amén.
BE VIGILANT
He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly . . . who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure. —ISAIAH 33:15–16, ESV It is essential that you become extremely vigilant about what enters your mind daily. What you hear affects how you think and what you believe. If you want to have life-affirming thoughts—thoughts of success and prosperity—then fill your ears with words that will produce these things in your life. Eventually, if you hear something enough, over time it will form a belief, and that belief will produce a corresponding action. It is this hearing—and hearing again—that is the impetus of faith.
Prayer:
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Open my ears today to hear Your truth. My faith does not rest in men’s wisdom but in Your power (1 Cor. 2:5). I do not mind the things of the flesh but things of the Spirit. Because I walk according to the Spirit and not the flesh, I bear the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, and faith. I will not be moved by circumstances. I walk by faith and not by sight. In the name of Jesus, amen.
